Who is Jessica Pegula’s husband? Meet Taylor Gahagen

Get to know the tennis star’s husband.

Jessica Pegula is one of the world’s best tennis players who just happens to be the daughter of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres owners.

And if you’re here, you might be wondering: who is her husband?

That would be Taylor Gahagen. And what we do know, per People, is that he worked for Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which is owned by Jessica’s parents. He has since left, but the pair appeared to be dating in 2015 and she’s posted photos of them together in 2016.

Tennis star Jessica Pegula visits Buffalo Bills practice

Tennis star Jessica Pegula visits #Bills practice:

Daughter of Buffalo Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula, Jessica, attended a team practice this week.

In her own right, that’s Jessica Pegula, the No. 3 ranked women’s tennis player in world, was at the session on Tuesday ahead of the U.S. Open in Queens, New York City.

Have a look at Pegula taking in the Bills workout in the clips shared to social media below:

Cotton Eye Joe song randomly interrupted tense match between Jessica Pegula, Iga Świątek

Where did this song come from and where did it go?

Jessica Pegula and Iga Świątek were just charging along as normal during their Canadian Open semi-final match on Saturday. And there came a point during the second set where they found themselves seeking a pivotal tie-breaking point at six-all.

But towards the end of a solid sequence of volleys, the 1995 hit song “Cotton Eye Joe” randomly started blasting over what appeared to be some loudspeakers by the court. Both players stopped, the watching crowd audibly gasped, and even the judge on the side couldn’t quite believe a song like that — from out of nowhere — interrupted the match.

What a profoundly weird moment:

After deliberation, Pegula and Świątek simply replayed the point and moved on. Pegula would eventually prevail in three sets. No harm, no foul.

But still: no one knows where this came from or where did it go?

Jessica Pegula keeps shouting out her Bills owner parents after Australian Open upsets

She will play in the quarterfinals at the Aussie Open.

Jessica Pegula is on to the quarterfinals of the 2021 Australian Open, and if that last name sounds familiar to you, it should.

The pro from Buffalo is the daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula, the owners of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. And down under, she has stormed through the women’s draw, upsetting No. 12-seeded Victoria Azarenka, Samantha Stouser and Kristina Mladenovic. A defeat of No. 5 seed Elina Svitolina put Pegula into the quarters against fellow American Jennifer Brady.

What’s fun is she’s using the signing-the-glass-on-the-camera moment after her wins to shout out the Pegulas back home and to root on the Bills and Sabres.

She also gave a shotout to her upcoming opponent, first rooting her on and then telling Brady she’d see her next:

This is super cool, including for the city of Buffalo and its die-hard sports fans.
