Michigan State has extended an offer to Jeremy Fears Jr.

It has been a busy weekend in East Lansing when it comes to recruiting for both the football and basketball programs. Michigan State basketball hosted a pair of top 2023 targets, including Jeremy Fears Jr.

Fears is a native of Joilet, Illinois, but attends the La Lumiere School in Indiana. La Lumiere is the same school Jaren Jackson Jr. attended.

After a successful visit, Tom Izzo has extended an offer to Fears, and appears to be prioritizing the point guard.

Michigan State will be very active in the 2023 class. Fears is currently ranked as the No. 20 player in the country as well as the No. 6 overall point guard according to 247Sports.

Top-20 ranked PG visiting Michigan State basketball this weekend

One of the nation’s best point guards will be visiting Michigan State this weekend

Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo has started to shift some of his focus towards the 2023 recruiting class after locking up two members of the 2022 class and only having one more target left on the board.

The 2023 class is expected to be a huge class, featuring 4-5 targets. With a lot of talent on the board, it will be a great opportunity for the Spartans to capitalize and load their roster.

One of those targets is Jeremy Fears Jr., a point guard from La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana. This is the same school Jaren Jackson Jr. attended.

According to 247Sports, Fears is ranked as the No. 20 overall player in the nation and is a borderline five-star. He will be visiting MSU again this weekend, September 25th.
