The Georgia Bulldogs added another commitment from four-star safety recruit Jaylan Morgan. Morgan, who is a member of the class of 2025, is Georgia’s second commitment from a defensive back recruit in the past two days. The 6-foot, 180-pound safety is the sixth-ranked recruit in Tennessee. The Rockvale standout is the No. 269 player in the country and the No. 23 safety, per 247Sports. Morgan recently visited Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss and Mississippi State before announcing his commitment.

Congratulations to Jaylan Morgan on announcing his commitment to Georgia!

Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia football currently have the third-ranked recruiting class in the nation. The Bulldogs have 19 commitments in the class of 2025 and have added three commitments over the past couple of days.

4-star athlete includes Georgia among final schools, locks in official visit

4-star athlete Jaylan Morgan schedules official visit to Athens after including UGA in final six…

Class of 2025 safety Jaylan Morgan included Georgia among his final-six schools on Thursday afternoon. He also scheduled an official visit to Athens for June 21.

Morgan (6-foot, 180 pounds) is a four-star recruit that is considered a cornerback by Rivals and a safety by 247Sports, who rates the Rockvale High School (Tenn.) star as the No. 23 safety and the No. 6 player in the state of Tennessee.

Morgan is expected to ultimately play for the in-state Vols, but he left UT out of his final-six schools, featuring Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Purdue.

Additionally, Morgan has summer visits scheduled to Florida (May 31), Ole Miss (June 7) and Mississippi State (June 14).

The Bulldogs offered Morgan on April 18 following the end of spring practice. He then visited Athens on the weekend of May 18.

While we don’t know for sure, it seems like Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs made a considerable impression during Morgan’s visit this month, enough to garner a spot among his final schools and an official visit.

Florida impresses 4-star safety on first visit to Gainesville

Four-star safety Jaylan Morgan left his first visit to the Swamp impressed with the Florida Gators coaching staff.

Florida made a strong impression on Rockvale High (Murfreesboro, Tennessee) safety [autotag]Jaylan Morgan[/autotag] during his first visit to the Swamp on Thursday, according to Gators Online.

Will Harris, Florida’s new secondary coach, stopped by Rockvale in January, and the Gators offered him shortly after. This visit was a chance for him to meet the rest of the staff though.

“It was great,” Morgan said. “I’d say it definitely was one of the best visits I’ve been on. Loved the coaching staff. It was my fist time meeting everyone instead of just Harris.”

Morgan is likely to return to Florida on an official visit, but he hasn’t locked in a date just yet.
