Jayden Peevy to sign with Tennessee Titans

Jayden Peevy to sign with the Tennessee Titans

The NFL draft is over, and despite a great career at Texas A&M, former Aggies defensive linemen Jayden Peevy went undrafted.

But shortly after the draft, sources began reporting that the former Aggie would be signing with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent.

The road to NFL success is difficult for any undrafted free agent, but Peavy will have the opportunity to play with former Aggie Ryan Tannehill, and will join a fierce defensive front in Music City.

If his play for the Titans reflects his time in Aggieland, he’ll have a great shot to make the regular season roster, and be a part of a Titans team with eyes on another deep playoff run.

We’ll be rooting for Jayden as his NFL journey begins.

NFL Draft 2022: Which Aggies should hear their names called on Day 3?

Which Aggies should hear their names called on Day 3?

In the last two nights, 105 players have been selected in the NFL draft, in a bit of a surprise, only two of those players, Kenyon Green, who was selected 15th overall by the Houston Texans, and defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal who was picked 84th by the Pittsburgh Steelers, attended Texas A&M University. Many draft pundits believed atleast a third Aggie would be selected by the end of the second day. Now it seems as though the third and final day will be the day of the Aggies as we expect to see six Aggies picked before Mr. Irrelevant’s name is called in Las Vegas.

2022 NFL draft: Which A&M players are waiting to hear their name called?

The first day and first round of the 2022 NFL draft are officially over, with 32 men hearing their names called and ready to start their professional football careers. For Texas A&M, offensive lineman Kenyon Green became the first of hopefully a number of Aggies drafted, selected 15th overall by the Houston Texans, staying close to home and looking to make an impact right away.

With seven other Aggies looking to be drafted on day two and day three, teams will be eyeing areas of need to supplement their rosters, and with this being one of the more talented A&M draft classes, teams will be getting a steal in later rounds, as we see every year after the first round concludes. Let’s see who’s left before the second and third rounds begin.
