Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2026 running back Javari Barnett.

“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Barnett said.

The 6-foot, 195-pound running back prospect is from Carrollwood Day High School in Tampa, Florida.

There are not recruiting rankings currently for Barnett from Rivals, 247Sports, On3 or ESPN.

The Vols are the second Southeastern Conference school to offer Barnett. Texas A&M first offered a scholarship to Barnett on Oct 3, 2023.

Winn has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Michigan State, Texas A&M, USF, Baylor, USC, Iowa, UCF, Miami, Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh.

Barnett also has a scholarship offer from Erkshine, a Division II school and a member of Conference Carolinas.

Michigan State was the first school to offer Barnett on Oct. 3, 2023.

Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to a 2026 running back prospect from Florida.

Javari Barnett of Seffner, Fla. announced on Wednesday that he’s received a scholarship from the Spartans. Barnett announced the recruiting news via X (formerly known as Twitter).

Barnett is yet to be ranked on 247Sports but is listed at 195 pounds and 6-foot-0 on his social media profile. He plays for Carrollwood Day High in Tampa, according to MaxPreps.
