Former speedster Michigan State wide receiver Jalen Nailor is having a strong start to training camp.

Nailor “put on a show” during the Vikings’ training camp practice on Saturday. Nailor is entering his third season with the Minnesota Vikings and looking to increase his role with the team this year.

Former Spartan Jalen Nailor scored his first career NFL touchdown on Sunday and the pass came from a fellow Spartan

Jalen Nailor recorded his first career touchdown in the NFL on Sunday and it happened to come from a fellow Spartan.

Kirk Cousins found Nailor for a 47-yard touchdown in the Minnesota Vikings’ loss against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. It was one of three catches for Nailor in the game, finishing with 89 yards to lead the Vikings.

Jalen Nailor is officially a Minnesota Viking

Jalen Nailor is officially a Minnesota Viking.

The former speedy Michigan State wide receiver announced he officially signed with the Vikings via Twitter on Thursday evening. Nailor was selected by the Vikings in the sixth round of the NFL Draft last month.

Nailor played for Michigan State from 2018 – 2021, where he appeared in 26 games. This past season he was hampered with injuries but still finished with 695 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 37 receptions.

Based on where Nailor was drafted, he will is locked into a four-year deal for $3.84 million with a $180,659 signing bonus, according to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
