The UFC is back in action this week at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas for UFC Fight Night 212.

In addition, there are a number of MMA and bareknuckle boxing events taking place that feature many familiar names that have competed under the UFC banner.

From a few fighters stepping back into the cage for the first time since 2014, to a couple looking to get back on track after their exit from the UFC, these 18 veterans of the global MMA leader are competing this week from Oct. 12-15.

6 former UFC, Bellator alums added to BKFC 31 lineup in Colorado

BKFC is set to touch down in its 11th U.S. state – and some faces familiar to MMA fans are on the card.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship keeps rolling into new territories.

Although bare-knuckle boxing’s origins run centuries, it’s one of the newest combat sports when it comes to regulation – and it’s still unsanctioned in many states. As of this coming Oct. 2, BKFC will have touched down in 10 U.S. states, as well as a handful of foreign countries.

On Tuesday, the promotion made state No. 11 official in announcing that BKFC 31 will take place Oct. 15 at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo., and stream on BKFC+.

Among the announced fights are six MMA notables, four from the UFC and two from Bellator. Scroll below to see which familiar faces are on the card and check out the full lineup of announced bouts at the bottom.

BKFC 11 lineup announced; features Melvin Guillard, David Rickels, two other UFC veterans

BKFC 11 has added David Rickels, Melvin Guillard, Nico Hernandez and a handful of other UFC, Bellator, and Strikeforce veterans.

The BKFC 11 lineup is taking shape.

In a press release recently issued, the promotion announced a handful of matchups for the March 14 event. The lineup includes former Bellator title challenger [autotag]David Rickels[/autotag], former UFC standout [autotag]Melvin Guillard[/autotag], Olympian [autotag]Nico Hernandez[/autotag], and more.

In the main event Hernandez, a 2016 Olympic bronze medalist for the U.S., takes on [autotag]Chauncey Wilson[/autotag] in a Wichita vs. Wichita matchup.

In the co-main event, Rickels will compete in his home state against an opponent to be named later. Rickels was the longest-tenured member of the Bellator roster prior to his departure in late January.

Guillard makes his return against [autotag]Dakota Cochrane[/autotag], and UFC alumnus [autotag]Josh Neer[/autotag] makes his promotional debut against [autotag]Ronnie Forney[/autotag]. BKFC heavyweight staple [autotag]Sam Shewmaker[/autotag] makes his sixth promotional appearance against former Bellator heavyweight [autotag]Josh Burns[/autotag]. Former UFC and Bellator fighter [autotag]Jake Lindsey[/autotag] also gets a homecoming against [autotag]Kenny Licea[/autotag].

BKFC 11 takes place March 14 at InTrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas and streams on Fite TV.
