Jacksonville, led and former Eagles coach Doug Pederson, defeated Los Angeles Chargers 38-10 in Week 3 for the Jaguars’ 1st road win since December 2019 (against the then-Oakland Raiders). This trip week will be a bit different than last Sunday.
Not only are the Eagles at full strength, but they are also undefeated.
QB Jalen Hurts has been playing at an MVP level to this point. He had an immediate connection with WR A.J. Brown, who had 155 yards receiving in their 1st game together. In Week 3 against Washington, Hurts also showed his connection with WR DeVonta Smith, who had 169 receiving yards and 1 TD. With the run game also clicking, this is a dangerous Eagles team.
Jacksonville has been no slouch either. With RB James Robinson coming off the 6th 100-yard rushing game of his career and WR Christian Kirk playing up to his contract, QB Trevor Lawrence has the weapons to show why he was the No. 1 overall draft pick a season ago.
This will be a hard-fought game. Both teams are good, and we will see which defense is able to get more stops to get the win.

Money line
PASS. The ML is too rich for my taste – too much juice.
If I felt strongly about the Jaguars winning, I would play it. But Philadelphia is the better team, and it is at home. So, I will stay away.
Against the spread
I LEAN toward the EAGLES -6.5 (-110).
Not only is Philadelphia the better team, but Jacksonville is also playing its 2nd road game in a row. Not to mention the games are on entirely different coasts. The travel is bound to wear the Jaguars down and the Eagles will be able to use this to their advantage.
Over/Under
TAKE OVER 45.5 (-110).
Both defenses are good, but the offenses on these teams have been playing great.
The Eagles got to Washington QB Carson Wentz 9 times last week. I cannot see them repeating that performance. This means the Jaguars’ Lawrence will have more time to get the ball out.
Kirk and Robinson have been terrific thus far and they should be again here.
For the Eagles, it is all about Hurts. He will find Brown and Smith. He will also use the run game behind the top-ranked offensive line in the NFL. Points will be aplenty to go Over in this one. This is my favorite play of the game.
