Farmington point guard Jaden Akins is at the top of Michigan State basketball’s wish list for the 2021 recruiting class and based on a clip he posted to Twitter this weekend, it’s easy to see why.
The springy four-star recruit checks in at around 6-foot-2, but clearly has the ability to make some highlight plays above the rim. Check it out.

Pretty impressive. Akins is ranked No. 88 in the class of 2021 per 247Sports. He is the second-best prospect in Michigan behind current MSU commit Pierre Brooks. There is some ways to go in Akins recruiting, but a lot of people in the know believe MSU is in the lead to land his commitment. Akins is also being recruited heavily by Michigan, Iowa, Missouri, and Xavier.
