Michigan State hockey has made another splash with the 2008-born recruiting class. The Spartans have picked up a commitment from Jack Hextall, a Rolling Meadows, Illinois native.
Hextall is a 5-star and the No. 11 ranked player in the class, according to Puck Preps rankings. He stands at 5-foot-11, and 175 pounds, as a right shot forward that can do it all on the ice.
After a monster season with the Chicago Mission AAA hockey team last season, Hextall will be heading to the USHL, where he will play for the Youngstown Phantoms.
