Iowa has thus far played through an easy schedule at home. The fast-tempo Hawkeyes have had a few lights-out shooting performances already and have scored 85 or more points in each of their six games. Iowa is shooting 50.0% from the floor and is averaging 97.2 points per game (PPG), which is the top mark in the nation.
The Cavaliers have won four in a row since losing at Houston Nov. 16. UVA is the hare in this Tortoise-and-Hare matchup. Virginia – which has played in five straight Unders – has allowed just 53.6 PPG, which ranks fourth.
Both teams last played Friday. The Hawkeyes and Wahoos meet for the first time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge and fourth overall.

Against the spread
The Hawkeyes are 0-8 ATS in their last eight road games following three or more consecutive home games.
The Wahoos can defend well, especially inside the arc and in close proximity to the hoop. Iowa will get its 3’s, but the margin will be small if the Hawkeyes are a little off target from distance.
A youthful Iowa team going on the road for a first time, and after playing a weak slate to date, is ripe for an off night.
