Notre Dame to be without starting lineman vs. Wake Forest

Was certainly a possibility but is now certain ahead of kickoff.

As Notre Dame gets set to kickoff senior day against Wake Forest at 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday, they’ll do so shorthanded on their offensive line.

Earlier in the week it was announced that offensive guard Rocco Spindler had surgery and would be done for the season.  On Saturday it was announced about 90 minutes before kickoff that starting center [autotag]Zeke Correll[/autotag] will not play in the 2023 home finale.

Sophomore Ashton Craig has been listed second on the depth chart all season so expect to see him on Notre Dame’s offensive line as a result.

Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. ET and the game can be seen on NBC or Peacock.

Injury Report: CB Kendall Fuller listed as ‘Doubtful’ vs. Eagles, Thomas Davis ‘Out’

Washington’s veteran CB Kendall Fuller is listed as doubtful to play in 2020 season-opener against Eagles on Sunday.

It appears that the Washington Football Team might have to rely on one of their young players in the secondary, with news coming out on Friday that veteran CB Kendall Fuller is doubtful to play against the Philadelphia Eagles with a knee injury.

Fuller, who was brought back to Washington in free agency this offseason, has been nursing a knee injury so far in training camp, and has been listed as limited in practice this past week.

If Fuller is unable to play, expect both Jimmy Moreland and Fabian Moreau to fill in for him and play alongside CB Ronald Darby, who will be facing off against his former team.

Another interesting note on the injury report is linebacker Thomas Davis Sr. being listed as out, which doesn’t come as a huge surprise, but will definitely hurt the defense going forward.
