A pair of Kansas City Chiefs stars are among the top social media influencers in the National Football League according to the NFLPA’s Influencer Hot List.
In collaboration with the NFLPA, social media publishing platform Opendorse analyzed the social media activity of current NFL players creating rankings for the top 10 active NFL players in social media engagements, growth rate and most consistent activity. Opendorse gathered data on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram over the course of the last season through May 31.
Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes, fresh off his half-billion-dollar contract extension, comes in at No. 7 in the list of overall total engagements. Here’s the full rankings list:

Mahomes also has one of the quickest growing social media brands for active NFL players. This measures the percentage of new followers across all social media platforms at a minimum rate of 100K. He comes in at No. 5 on that list.
