The Washington Commanders released their inactive list ahead of Sunday’s Week 12 game against the Atlanta Falcons, and it’s headlined by some big names.

Defensive end Chase Young [knee], wide receiver Dax Milne [foot] and cornerback Benjamin St-Juste [ankle] are inactive for Sunday’s game due to injuries.

Young was activated to the 53-man roster last week but isn’t quite ready for game action. St-Juste injured his ankle last week in the win over the Texans. Milne, Washington’s primary punt returner, injured his foot last week.

Also inactive for Washington on Sunday are rookie guard Chris Paul and linebacker De’Jon Harris.

Linebacker Cole Holcomb, who had missed the previous four games with a foot injury, was moved to injured reserve Friday, freeing up a roster spot. Holcomb will now miss a minimum of four more games before he is eligible to return.

8 Saints listed as limited on initial Week 12 injury report vs. 49ers

8 Saints were listed as limited participants on the initial Week 12 injury report vs. 49ers, via @DillySanders:

Here’s a look at the initial New Orleans Saints injury report ahead of Week 12’s game with the San Francisco 49ers. The Saints listed three players as non-participants due to injury on Wednesday, but eight others were able to work on a limited basis. That’s a big improvement over what we’ve seen in recent months, with as many as seven or eight players inactive altogether. Here’s to more positive progress.

Two players who aren’t listed on the injury report but who did practice on Wednesday are left tackle Trevor Penning and cornerback Bradley Roby — both of whom are on injured reserve, but whose 21-day practice windows have been opened, which starts the process of returning them to the active roster. We’ll look out for updates on this front in the days ahead.

We’re still waiting on word from the 49ers, whose West Coast practice wraps up later this afternoon. For now, here’s what we learned from Wednesday’s injury report:

Commanders’ Week 11 inactives vs. Texans

A look at the Commanders’ Week 11 inactive list.

The Washington Commanders released their inactive list ahead of Sunday’s Week 11 game against the Houston Texans. Linebacker Cole Holcomb will miss his fourth consecutive game with a foot injury.

A total of four players are on Washington’s inactive list, including Holcomb’s backup, David Mayo, for a third consecutive game. Mayo is dealing with a hamstring injury.

Here is the complete list.

  • LB Cole Holcomb
  • LB David Mayo
  • G Chris Paul
  • CB Rachad Wildgoose

Wildgoose played well at slot corner a few weeks ago but struggled in the Week 8 win over the Colts. Since then, coaches have moved starting free safety Bobby McCain to the slot, with Darrick Forrest and Kam Curl at safety.

Running back J.D. McKissic was moved to injured reserve on Saturday. Jonathan Williams is active behind Antonio Gibson and Brian Robinson Jr. in Week 11.

Ryan Ramczyk, Josh Andrews upgraded on Week 11 Saints injury report vs. Rams

Ryan Ramczyk, Josh Andrews upgraded on Week 11 Saints injury report vs. Rams but a small crowd still isn’t practicing:

Here’s the updated New Orleans Saints injury report ahead of their Week 11 game with the Los Angeles Rams, per ESPN’s Katherine Terrell, but there isn’t much good news. The Saints upgraded two of their offensive linemen to limited participation after right tackle Ryan Ramczyk and center Josh Andrews were both inactive earlier this week due to an illness.

But a small crowd of Saints starters and key backups are still not practicing due to injuries, including defensive ends Cameron Jordan and Marcus Davenport, cornerback Marshon Lattimore, linebacker Pete Werner, left guard Andrus Peat, and left tackle James Hurst.

We’re still waiting on word from Rams practice out on the West Coast, but we know starting quarterback Matthew Stafford returned to work this week while navigating the league’s concussion protocol. In the meantime, here’s what we learned from the Saints:

The initial Week 11 New Orleans Saints injury report is here, and it’s a lot to take in. A staggering 13 players are listed on Wednesday’s first report as having been absent or limited in practice due to injuries and illnesses. We’ll get a better idea of the Los Angeles Rams’ participation on Wednesday after they wrap up practice on the West Coast. For now, here’s what we know:

Commanders inactives for Week 10 vs. Eagles

Cole Holcomb is among Washington’s inactive players for its Monday Night Football game vs. the Eagles.

The Washington Commanders announced their inactive list ahead of the Monday Night Football clash against the Philadelphia Eagles.

  • No. 37 CB Rachad Wildgoose
  • No. 41 RB Jonathan Williams
  • No. 51 LB David Mayo
  • No. 55 LB Cole Holcomb
  • No. 75 G Chris Paul
  • No. 85 TE Cole Turner

Holcomb [foot], McKissic [neck] and Mayo [hamstring] are out with injuries. This is the third consecutive game Holcomb will miss. Mayo, his top backup, will miss his second consecutive game. McKissic is also out for the second straight week. The Commanders are playing it safe with McKissic.

In some good news, wide receiver Jahan Dotson is back after missing five games. Rookie tight end Cole Turner is inactive again, with Washington going with Logan Thomas, John Bates and fellow rookie Armani Rogers.

Here is the Eagles’ inactive list:

Jarvis Landry up, 5 others ruled out on final Week 10 Saints injury report vs. Steelers

Jarvis Landry up, 5 others ruled out on final Week 10 Saints injury report vs. Steelers

Let’s start with the good news. The New Orleans Saints didn’t list slot receiver Jarvis Landry with any game status this week, meaning he’ll play in Week 10’s matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers despite having been limited in practice due to an ankle injury.

Now the bad news. The Saints ruled out five players due to injuries with four others questionable to play. Two of those who are questionable are new additions in defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon and safety P.J. Williams, both dealing with illnesses. Neither of them practiced on Friday after participating fully earlier in the week.

Commanders’ Week 9 inactive list vs. Vikings

The Commanders announce their inactive list for Week 9 vs. Vikings.

The Washington Commanders have released their inactive list ahead of Sunday’s Week 9 game against the Minnesota Vikings. The inactive list features few surprises, with the Commanders battling a number of injuries.

Here’s the complete inactive list:

  • WR Jahan Dotson
  • RB J.D. McKissic
  • LB Cole Holcomb
  • LB David Mayo
  • G Chris Paul
  • TE Cole Turner
  • DE Shaka Toney

Dotson is missing his fifth consecutive game with a hamstring injury. Holcomb is missing his second straight game with a foot injury. Mayo is Holcomb’s backup and is out with a hamstring injury. McKissic was listed on the injury report with a neck injury, which is concerning since he missed time late last season with neck and shoulder injuries.

Turner missed last week’s game due to a concussion he suffered in the Week 7 win over Green Bay.

Vikings inactives vs. Commanders include Dalvin Tomlinson

The inactive list for the Vikings doesn’t have any surprises

The Minnesota Vikings are set to face off against the Washington Commanders on Sunday and they will be without their best defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson. He highlights the list of seven inactives for Sunday’s game.

Tomlinson was announced out on Friday while Jalen Nailor was announced out on Saturday.

The rest of the inactives are more of the same. Luiji Vilain has been inactive all season while Vederian Lowe, Esezi Otomewo, Chris Reed and Benton Whitley have been inactive for each game they have been on the active roster.

The Commanders’ inactive list doesn’t have any surprises on it.

Get excited Vikings fans, it’s gameday.
