If you’re looking for inside information as to who will start at quarterback for Notre Dame on Saturday night at Virginia Tech you’ve come to the wrong place.  We speculated early in the week that it’d be Drew Pyne based off things Brian Kelly said but the closer to gametime we get the more aware we become that we really don’t know who will start.

What we do have for you however is Notre Dame’s freshly released hype tape for the Virginia Tech game.  The last time the Irish lost a regular season contest they bounced back with a last-second win over Virginia Tech.

Go Irish, beat Bearcats.

Notre Dame and Cincinnati might not be getting the College Gameday treatment but its still as big of game as there is in college football this weekend as it’s the only top-10 matchup.

Can Cincinnati win what is probably their biggest game in program history?  Or will Notre Dame win yet again on their home turf?

If this weekend’s matchup against Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss doesn’t have you excited already, then maybe this all-new hype tape that the Alabama football Twitter account just dropped will.

On the eve of Alabama’s matchup with Ole Miss, Alabama dropped the video that is narrated by starting quarterback Bryce Young.

The theme of the video is to silence the noise.

Watch: Notre Dame releases hype tape for Wisconsin game

Is it noon (et) yet?

Notre Dame and Wisconsin are set to face off for the first time in nearly 60 years as kickoff is less than 12 hours away as I post this.  It’s the biggest game of the year for the Irish, one that’s a must-win if you want next week’s to be bigger in terms of rankings.

Trying to sleep the night before games like this one is always tough and tonight is no exception.  What won’t help in that department is that Notre Dame’s fresh new hype tape for the showdown with Wisconsin showed up in my Twitter feed and gave me a bit more energy I didn’t need at this hour.

Regardless, here it is:

See you in a few hours for what is hopefully a great day for the Irish in Chicago.

New Jalen Hurts hype tape just dropped

If this doesn’t get you excited for Jalen Hurts’ sophomore season in Philly, we don’t know what will.

Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts is now QB1 in Philadelphia. The Eagles drafted the Alabama and Oklahoma product in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft, and has since made moves to suggest they are looking to have him lead their offense for the long run.

The team traded their former franchise quarterback Carson Wentz, and even traded back in the 2021 draft, a move that suggested the team was not interested in taking a quarterback with their then-top-10 pick.

Instead, they got him a former teammate of his, and an offensive weapon that will have an immediate impact on the offense: Heisman-winning wide receiver out of Alabama, DeVonta Smith.

Last weekend, Hurts was back in Alabama to host a camp, and he managed to get some reps in with the upcoming rookie wide receiver.

Hurts to Smith, with Smith wearing his old Alabama helmet is just what we needed.
