The Virginia Tech Hokies will meet the Old Dominion Monarchs in Week 1 of the college football season on Friday night at S.B. Ballard Stadium.
Virginia Tech is coming off a 6-6 season and will be under a new head coach in Brent Pry, who came over from Penn State and will expect more out of the Hokies this year. Meanwhile, Old Dominion will begin its first year in the Sun Belt Conference after a 6-6 record last year as they look for some improvement in the new conference.
