The defending NCAA men’s basketball champions, the UConn Huskies, will play host on Tuesday night to the Butler Bulldogs for a battle of the Big East in Hartford.
The Huskies continue to wear their crown this season as they sit in the pole position of both major polls with a sparkling 20-2 overall record and a 10-1 mark in conference play. One of those losses came at the Kansas Jayhawks at the start of December while the other was also on the road against the Seton Hall Pirates later in the month.
The Bulldogs are pretty mediocre this year with their 15-7 tally overall and 6-5 record against the conference. Butler has shown life lately, however, running off four straight wins including their most recent victory over the No. 13 Creighton Blue Jays on the road.
The UConn Huskies will host the Butler Bulldogs on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
