Hanna Cavinder posted the perfect TikTok with boyfriend Carson Beck after Miami transfer

This sums it up for the couple.

If you thought about how Hanna Cavinder — of the famed Cavinder twins — felt about her boyfriend Carson Beck transferring from Georgia to Miami, where she plays hoops, here’s some confirmation.

After she tweeted “It’s a great day to be a Miami Hurricane,” she then posted a video with Beck of the pair dancing to It’s All About the U, the song about Miami, and together they formed the “U” with their hands.

So, yeah. She’s excited. He’s excited. It’s pretty awesome for their relationship! Here’s that video folks are buzzing about that’s now on TikTok and other social media platforms:

Hanna Cavinder tweets 9-word message after boyfriend Carson Beck transfers to Miami

She seems happy!

Sounds like Hanna Cavinder is very happy to have her boyfriend Carson Beck transfer from Georgia to Miami, where she just happens to play for the Hurricanes’ women’s hoops team.

We heard from Cavinder on Friday after news broke that Beck would be with Miami next year, thanks to a post on X (formerly Twitter) that was just nine words. But clearly it has to be about the Beck news, right?

Here’s what she said: “It’s a great day to be a miami hurricane.”

Sounds like someone who’s pretty happy, and there was further proof on her Instagram Story too:

Former UGA QB Carson Beck transfers to girlfriend’s school

Favorite emerges for Georgia football transfer quarterback Carson Beck

Georgia Bulldogs starting quarterback Carson Beck reversed his NFL draft plans and is expected to play another season of college football. Beck entered the transfer portal and may not return to Georgia. Instead, he is expected to transfer even though he could return to UGA.

The Miami Hurricanes have already emerged as the favorite to land Beck’s services according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

“Miami looms as the favorite to land Carson Beck,” said Thamel via social media.

Update: Beck has committed to Miami

Miami has a strong pitch to land Beck. The Hurricanes are coming off a 10-2 season and helped develop quarterback Cam Ward, who is a potential No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Miami also has plenty of name, image and likeness money to offer Beck. Don’t forget, Beck’s girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, plays for Miami’s basketball team. So the Hurricanes are a destination that makes a lot of sense for Beck.

Texas Tech and Ohio State have also been named as potential transfer destinations for Carson Beck.

Beck, a senior, won an SEC championship with Georgia in 2024. Unfortunately, Beck suffered an elbow injury during the SEC championship game and will not be able to throw until March. He is expected to miss spring practice.

Beck finished the 2024 season with 3,485 passing yards, 28 passing touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His quarterback rating of 80.9 is  No. 9 in the country. Beck is a plug and play starter.

Hanna Cavinder rips fans in scathing TikTok video over people mocking looks online

Hanna Cavinder is not here for the unruly comments fans have to say.

Hanna Cavinder is not here for the trolls or anything damaging that fans have to say on social media.

On Monday, Cavinder posted a nearly two-minute TikTok video in which she called out vitriol she had seen online. The Miami guard took exception to recent comments that fans made about the physical attributes of others and spent the better part of the video asking people to be better. “I’m just gonna get this off my chest because this [expletive] just like literally fires me up and annoys me so much about social media and society and how it is,” Cavinder said before condemning things people have said.

“If you have anything not nice to say about a person, maybe just shut up and don’t say one word because it affects people’s lives,” she continued. It’s unclear who the comments were explicitly about or if it was a blanket statement, but Cavinder eventually told fans to “grow up.” Here’s the full video with her thoughts:

Carson Beck makes his Hanna Cavinder relationship Instagram official

The Georgia QB and Miami basketball player are officially dating!

After a TikTok video from Miami’s Cavinder twins showed Hanna and Georgia quarterback Carson Beck looking very close, there was speculation: were they a couple?

The answer, after what Beck posted Monday, appears to be … yes!

Beck posted a series of photos on Instagram with the caption “gvo” (that would be “good vibes only”), and in it is a snap of him and Cavinder holding hands. I think that means they’re Instagram official! How lovely for the two collegiate athletes!

Maybe that means we’ll see them at each other’s games this season. Here’s the post that has people buzzing about them:

Are Hanna Cavinder and Georgia QB Carson Beck dating? Speculation is swirling

Could one member of the Cavinder twins and the Georgia QB be dating?

Do we have an intra-college sports romance brewing?

We can’t say for sure, but there’s a lot of speculation swirling.

Miami hoops star Hanna Cavinder — who has made lots of NIL money with twin sister, Haley — was in a TikTok video with Georgia QB Carson Beck (check the background below!) during July 4th, which made people think there might be something going on between them.

Haley was with Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, and the both of them were in Instagram photos with the twins as well.

Could be something, could be nothing. But here we are. Check out the content:

Haley Cavinder unexpectedly de-committed from TCU to return to Miami alongside twin sister Hanna

Well, that escalated quickly.

In a sudden turn of events, Haley Cavinder will not be playing for TCU this season. She’s re-joining her sister, Hanna, in Miami. No, we are not joking.

If you’ve been following the story of the Cavinder twins, you might know that they retired from college basketball to pursue careers as influencers and then unretired to return to basketball. But their story took another unexpected twist on Thursday.

After Hanna Cavinder announced a return to Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball just a day ago, her twin sister, Haley — who originally announced that she was joining the TCU Horned Frogs in November — shared that she is NOT playing for TCU this season and will instead also return to Miami.

Here’s some of the rationale that Haley shared about her decision to team up with Hanna again:

“I’ve decided to return to the University of Miami and play with Hann for our final and fifth year. There is nothing more important than family and the bond I share with my twin sister. Being presented with the opportunity to play together one more time is something I cannot pass up.”

Why Hanna Cavinder says she’s un-retiring from college basketball and returning to Miami

“I had a purpose before everyone had an opinion.”

Hanna Cavinder is un-retiring from basketball and going back to a place she knows best: Miami.

On Wednesday, Cavinder shared the news that, like twin sister Haley, she is re-joining the college basketball world. Hanna has one year of NCAA eligibility remaining and plans to return to Miami, where she spent the 2022-2023 season. During her time with the Hurricanes, she averaged 3.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists coming off the bench.

Hanna ultimately shared these words with her followers via social media:

“Over these past few months, I have been itching to get back to the game that I thought I lost the love and passion for. Nothing quite fills the void that this sport brings me.

With that all being said, I have decided to return for one more season. Let’s run it back, Miami. I had a purpose before everyone had an opinion.”

Cavinder twins announce they are leaving Miami to start new chapter

“I don’t want to play basketball without Hanna,” Haley said in a joint interview via Zoom from the twins’ hometown of Gilbert, Arizona.

Hanna and Haley Cavinder made a name for themselves on social media before athletes could monetize their name, image, and likeness and it paid off, literally.

The Cavinder twins are some of the most recognized names in the collegiate landscape and made headlines even before transferring from Fresno State to the University of Miami. They have one of the highest NIL valuations of any athlete in college.

From their viral TikToks to their billboards in Times Square, these twins definitely have their finger on the pulse of how to build a brand in this era. They also happen to be pretty good at basketball and helped take the Hurricanes women’s basketball team to their first Elite Eight game in the 2023 NCAA tournament.

Now the twins have decided to step away from basketball and forgo their fifth year of eligibility, granted to athletes during the COVID-19 pandemic. They announced the decision Tuesday on social media as if any other place would be more appropriate for these social media stars.

“I don’t want to play basketball without Hanna,” Haley said in a joint interview via Zoom from the twins’ hometown of Gilbert, Arizona. “I started with her, so at the end of the day, I want to end basketball and start our new lives together, but it was definitely difficult for me.”

Some speculate the twins could be the next new faces of the WWE. The twins were two of 15 athletes signed by the WWE’s Next in Line program. This program aims to “to enhance the talent development process through collaborative partnerships with college athletes from diverse athletic backgrounds.”

Only the twins know their next move, but it should be exciting to watch their journey as they transition from basketball players to full-time entrepreneurs.

Katlyn Gilbert’s terrific freshman season has given Notre Dame hope in what’s been a rare dreary season for the program. Everyone can see the potential even clearer after Gilbert was named the ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday.

In wins against Wake Forest and Pittsburgh, Gilbert averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 38.7 percent from the field. With 12 points against the Demon Deacons and 17 against the Panthers, she has a team-high 21 games in which she’s scored in double figures.

Of course, Gilbert isn’t the only freshman making an impact for the Irish. She and Sam Brunelle are the top scoring first-year players in the conference with averages of 13.9 and 13.6 points a game, respectively. Throughout the country, only Fresno State’s Haley and Hanna Cavinder can join them as freshman teammates who have scoring averages of at least 13.5 points a game.

If the season ended today, Gilbert’s scoring average would rank fourth all-time for Notre Dame freshmen.
