Watch these goofy bears join in on the Halloween fun

These videos are a real treat.

It’s no secret that people love bears. We watch bears compete in Fat Bear Week, kids cling to teddy bears, and there are sports teams named after this awesome animal. This Halloween, there are even more reasons to celebrate cute bears. Two recent videos from North Carolina and New York are showing the world how these critters are getting into the holiday spirit.

The first delightful video comes from the Orphaned Wildlife Center in Otisville, New York. A recent clip shows three of the center’s orphaned bears celebrating pumpkin season by tearing into some plump orange gourds. The bears, named Amy, Jenny, and Sonya, can be seen putting their powerful claws and teeth to use to shred the pumpkins. See it for yourself here.

On the other end of the East Coast, a set of curious and adorable bears in Asheville, North Carolina, were spotted investigating a resident’s Halloween decorations. This trio seemed most interested in the nearby water dish, though. After poking around at the spooky decorations and lapping up some water, the three cubs wandered back into the woods. So long, cute bears! Let’s hope you join us again next year for more Halloween fun.

11 of the best athlete Halloween costumes from 2023 including Myles Garrett as The Creeper

From Fresh Prince to this Mike McDaniel look-alike, we got some great Halloween looks this weekend.

They weren’t the only athletes getting in the spirit, with a smattering of NBA players and even Robert Griffin III donning a Harry Potter costume (more like Robert Griffyndor III, right?) for college football Saturday.

Here are a handful of our favorite looks.

Bryan Bresee wears ‘The Waterboy’ Halloween costume to Saints team meeting

Bryan Bresee was caught wearing a Halloween costume from ‘The Waterboy’ to a recent Saints team meeting. Maybe he can channel Bobby Boucher’s knack for big plays:

Now that’s funny. New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Bryan Bresee may have had to go experience some light rookie hazing at a recent team meeting — wear he was wearing a Halloween costume inspired by the Adam Sandler classic “The Waterboy,” as seen in a photo shared by his veteran teammate Malcolm Roach.

But we can’t rule out the possibility that Bresee did this of his own free will. Maybe he just felt like throwing on Bobby Boucher’s No. 9 South Central Louisiana State Mud Dogs jersey, along with a way-too-small novelty Saints helmet and old-school mustard-yellow pants while toting a pack of water bottles around the team facility? Stranger things have happened.

Times are tough for the Saints. They’ve lost four of their last five games and a lot of questions are being asked about whether the team has the leadership in place to get them out of a jam like this. But it’s good to see Bresee and his teammates aren’t dispiriting while making time for hijinks like this. He’s got a long career ahead of them and memories like this ought to be looked back on fondly. Maybe he can channel some of Boucher’s playmaking ability on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

Go ghost hunting on America’s creepiest, most haunted roads

Search for ghosts.

Some ghosts moan and rattle chains in decrepit mansions. Others roam the halls of their former places of employment. You might hear doors slamming upstairs when you thought nobody was there. Or, you’ll wonder why the elevator stopped on your floor only for the doors to slide open and reveal no one inside.

But there’s another type of ghost that prefers open spaces. They wander outside, ghouling it up on America’s roads. Yes, roads you might unsuspectingly drive. RV Trader has compiled this guide to 43 of our nation’s most haunted roads. So, if you’re driving back from a hike this spooky season, be extra careful about stopping on these supposedly specter-infested thoroughfares. Picking up hitchhikers is seldom a good idea. On these roads, it really isn’t.

Here’s a sample of America’s most spine-chilling streets and their stories from RV Trader’s research.
