Georgia football support staffer takes LSU job

Former UGA, Tennessee and CSU defensive coordinator heading to LSU…

Georgia football quality control coordinator John Jancek is going from the Georgia support staff to LSU’s support staff.

Jancek is a former Bulldogs linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator who has served as Tennessee and Colorado State’s defensive coordinator.

Jancek been hired as a senior defensive analyst for Brian Kelly, according to multiple sources.

Jancek worked under Kelly at Grand Valley State and Central Michigan.

In other coaching staff news, UGA hired former Miami assistant strength and conditioning coach Jordan Barber as associate strength and conditioning specialist.
