The Philadelphia Eagles have Scot McCloughan on staff as a consultant and his expertise in personnel could come in handy, as Andrew Berry now appears to be the favorite to land the Browns GM job.
The Eagles VP of player personnel just ascended after Vikings assistant GM George Paton withdrew his name from consideration.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reported that Berry was the Haslam’s first choice to replace John Dorsey, referring to the owner’s special relationship with the former Browns executive.
Berry was hired by Howie Roseman and the Eagles after previously serving as the Cleveland Browns’ vice president of player personnel. With his specialty being analytics Berry is viewed by many as an up-and-coming talent in the NFL.
