Colts’ gameday roster vs. Titans in Week 13

Taking a look at the Colts’ gameday roster, sorted by jersey number, in Week 13.

The Indianapolis Colts (6-5) will be looking to extend their winning streak to four games when they visit the Tennessee Titans (4-7) on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.

As it pertains to the roster, no major moves were made during the week of preparation for this crucial divisional matchup.

However, the Colts did elevate a running back and wide receiver from the practice squad for the game.

Here’s a look at the Colts’ gameday roster in Week 13, sorted by jersey number:

Packers elevate RB James Robinson, FB Henry Pearson from practice squad for Week 13 vs. Chiefs

The Packers elevated RB James Robinson and FB Henry Pearson from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Week 13 vs. the Chiefs.

The Green Bay Packers elevated running back James Robinson and fullback Henry Pearson from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Week 13. The move was announced Saturday, making Robinson and Pearson available for Matt LaFleur and the Packers for Sunday night’s showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs at Lambeau Field.

The elevations are an answer to the Packers’ injury problems at running back, fullback and tight end.

Aaron Jones will miss a second straight game with a knee injury, and A.J. Dillon is expected to play through a groin injury. Robinson, a veteran, provides an emergency option at running back behind Dillon and Patrick Taylor. He was on the active roster for Week 12 but did not play a snap during the Packers’ win over the Detroit Lions.

Pearson is up for the second consecutive week. His elevation suggests Josiah Deguara is in danger of missing another game because of a hip injury. Pearson can handle the H-back snaps and even play some tight end if needed behind Tucker Kraft and Ben Sims.

Pearson played two run-blocking snaps last week. He was also on the field for 10 special teams snaps.

This is the sixth time the Packers have used both elevations in a week this season.

All teams are allowed to elevate up to two players from the practice squad each week. An individual player can only be elevated from the practice squad three times per season, so Robinson has two elevations remaining and Pearson one.  On Monday, Robinson and Pearson will revert back to the practice squad.

Colts’ gameday roster vs. Bucs in Week 12

The Indianapolis Colts (5-5) are set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6) on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium for a Week 12 matchup.

The Colts made a big move to their roster this week, making headlines when they waived linebacker Shaquille Leonard. They called up linebacker Ronnie Harrison Jr., who is converting from safety, to take his place from the practice squad

Packers elevate S Benny Sapp III from practice squad for Week 11 vs. Chargers

The Packers elevated S Benny Sapp III from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Week 11 vs. the Chargers.

The Green Bay Packers elevated safety Benny Sapp III from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Week 11. The move was announced Saturday, making Sapp available for Matt LaFleur and the Packers for Sunday’s showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers at Lambeau Field.

Sapp is an undrafted rookie out of Northern Iowa. If active as expected, Sunday will be his first appearance in an NFL regular season game.

The Packers need depth at safety, where preferred starters Rudy Ford is doubtful to play and Darnell Savage remains on injured reserve. Jonathan Owens and rookie Anthony Jonhson Jr. will be expected to start vs. the Chargers.

Sapp, the son of former NFL cornerback Benny Sapp II, played 54 games at the collegiate level. He transferred from Minnesota to Northern Iowa and played in 30 straight games between 2020 and 2022. The Packers signed him in May.

Over three preseason games, Sapp was on the field for 63 total snaps on defense, recording two tackles and the game-ending interception in the preseason finale vs. the Seahawks. He was among the Packers defense’s highest-graded players during the exhibition schedule.

Sapp is the fifth different Packers player to be elevated from the practice squad this season. Three of the previous four — Patrick Taylor, Corey Ballentine and Innis Gaines — ended up on the 53-man roster for at least one game.

All teams are allowed to elevate up to two players from the practice squad each week. An individual player can only be elevated from the practice squad three times per season, so Sapp has two elevations remaining.  On Monday, Sapp will revert back to the practice squad.

Jets’ gameday roster for Week 9 vs. Chargers

Jets’ gameday roster for Week 9 vs. Chargers

With the inactives announced for the Jets for Monday night against the Los Angeles Chargers, New York has their gameday roster set for the bright lights. The roster is typical to what it has been throughout the season. The same stable of running backs once again as Israel Abanikanda remains a weekly inactive. Randall Cobb is a healthy scratch this week and Jason Brownlee is back to being inactive after getting a taste of action last week.

Here is your full gameday roster for Week 9 as the Jets look for their fourth straight victory.

Colts’ gameday roster vs. Panthers in Week 9

Here’s a look at the gameday roster for the Colts in Week 9.

The Indianapolis Colts (3-5) will be on the road Sunday to visit the Carolina Panthers (1-6) at Bank of America Stadium.

The Colts added center/guard Jack Anderson from the practice squad to the active roster and guard Ike Beottger was waived this week.

They only elevated one player from the practice squad for this game, cornerback Chris Lammons, who was elevated for the second consecutive week.

Packers elevate S Innis Gaines from practice squad for Week 9 vs. Rams

The Packers elevated S Innis Gaines from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Week 9 vs. the Rams.

The Green Bay Packers elevated safety Innis Gaines from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Week 9. The move was announced Saturday, making Gaines available for Matt LaFleur and the Packers for Sunday’s showdown with the Los Angeles Rams at Lambeau Field.

Gaines has been elevated from the practice squad three times in 2023. After Sunday, he would need to be signed to the 53-man roster to play for the Packers again this season.

The Packers are thin at safety with Darnell Savage on injured reserve and Rudy Ford — who is questionable to play Sunday — battling a calf injury. While veteran Jonathan Owens is an expected starter vs. the Rams, Anthony Johnson Jr. is an inexperienced rookie learning how to play safety and Dallin Leavitt and Zayne Anderson are mostly special teamers.

Gaines’ biggest contribution will likely come on special teams, but he does have experience playing in the slot in dime package personnel groups.

Gaines, an undrafted free agent out of TCU, played five defensive snaps and 19 special teams in Week 1 vs. the Chicago Bears and 16 special teams snaps in Week 2 vs. the Atlanta Falcons.

Gaines is the third Packers player to be elevated three times this season, joining Patrick Taylor, who is now in New England, and Corey Ballentine, who was signed to the 53-man roster.

All teams are allowed to elevate up to two players from the practice squad each week. An individual player can only be elevated from the practice squad three times per season, so Gaines is now out of elevations. On Monday, Gaines will revert back to the practice squad.

Jets’ gameday roster for Week 8 vs. Giants

With the inactives announced for the Jets for Week 8, including wide receiver Randall Cobb and defensive end Carl Lawson, the gameday roster is now set for the Jets for their matchup Sunday against the New York Giants.

Two undrafted wide receivers — Xavier Gipson and Jason Brownlee — will both be active Sunday, the first game for Brownlee. Gipson will now get to run as the No. 3 wide receiver with Cobb out.

Colts’ gameday roster vs. Browns in Week 7

Taking a look at the gameday roster for the Colts in Week 7.

The Indianapolis Colts (3-3) are back home Sunday for a Week 7 matchup against the Cleveland Browns (3-2) at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The roster will be without another key player this week in the form of defensive tackle Grover Stewart, who was placed on the Reserve/Suspended list after violating the league’s PED policy. The Colts signed wide receiver Juwann Winfree to the active roster in his place.

Later in the week, the Colts claimed cornerback Ameer Speed off waivers from the New England Patriots. They waived wide receiver Amari Rodgers to make room on the 53-man roster.

Finally, for the third week in a row, the Colts opted against elevating any players from the practice squad.
