Peyton and Eli Manning release funny statements about 2025 Pro Bowl

Peyton and Eli Manning announced a return to the Pro Bowl with their signature sense of humor.

The Pro Bowl Games are returning this season and the NFL’s favorite brothers will once again serve as the head coaches.

Peyton Manning (AFC) and Eli Manning (NFC) will face off in the 2025 Pro Bowl at Camping World Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 2.

After the league announced the Mannings as returning coaches, the brothers released a pair of funny statements ahead of the Pro Bowl.

“The Pro Bowl Games are all about having fun,” Peyton said. “It’s always unpredictable, and we got to bring fans into the action and see the NFL’s biggest names compete. And the best part about this year’s games is knowing that my AFC team is going to end Eli’s two-year run of luck with the NFC.”

The NFL’s statement included a fitting retort from Eli.

“I love everything about the Pro Bowl Games,” Eli said. “And getting to hear Peyton complain about losing every year makes it even better.”

Fan voting for the 2025 Pro Bowl will open on Nov. 25. The list of Denver Broncos players worthy of consideration this season includes guard Quinn Meinerz, left tackle Garett Bolles, defensive end Zach Allen, pass rushers Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper, and cornerbacks Pat Surtain, Riley Moss and Ja’Quan McMillian.

Since switching to a flag football format, Eli’s NFC is 2-0 against Peyton’s AFC in the revamped Pro Bowl Games.

Sean Payton has been teasing John Elway about Bo Nix breaking his records

Bo Nix continues to break Broncos rookie records previously held by John Elway. “I just have to give Elway a hard time,” Sean Payton said.

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix continues to break franchise (and NFL) records this season. With just one touchdown pass in Week 12, Nix will break the team’s rookie record for the most passing touchdowns in a season with 15.

As Nix makes rookie history and passes Pro Football Hall of Famer John Elway in numerous categories, coach Sean Payton has been ribbing the three-time Super Bowl champion.

“We’re hitting these milestones and I just have to give Elway a hard time like, ‘What the heck?’” Payton said Sunday. “The future is bright. He’s young, and I’m sure each week there will be something — or each month maybe — that elapses. I think the most important thing is this — and I mean this because you guys, you spend a lot of time with him — it’s getting the win. We’ve won some games there year where maybe his numbers weren’t [great], and you’ve heard me say, ‘It doesn’t have to be aesthetically pleasing to be effective.’

“Our job is to win each week, week after week. There are midseason goals and then ones that you want to attain [in the] postseason if that’s an opportunity. I always feel that way with him, and quite honestly feel that way with a lot of the skill players. It’s an unselfish group, and they’re playing pretty good team football.”

Nix has already set the franchise record for the most wins by a rookie quarterback with six, and there are six games remaining this season. As Payton noted, wins are the stat that matters most. He’s got a long way to go before matching Elway’s 148 career wins, but as far as rookie seasons go, Nix is already one of the best in Broncos history.

Broncos coach Sean Payton had a funny response to the Bo Nix hype

Broncos coach Sean Payton is also excited about Bo Nix, but he had a funny response to the growing hype on Monday.

Following the Denver Broncos‘ big win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon, the Bo Nix hype has been off the charts (understandably so).

Nix had a record-breaking performance in a 38-6 win over the Falcons, completing 28-of-33 passes for 307 yards with four touchdowns and no turnovers. So it’s no surprise that coach Sean Payton was peppered with questions about Nix’s rise during his conference call on Monday.

Four of the first five questions during Payton’s call with reporters on Monday were related to Nix. After the fourth question, Payton had a funny response.

“Let’s not send this kid to Canton quite yet,” Payton said.

It’s an understandable stance for the coach to take. Nix has shown incredible improvement from earlier this year, but there’s still plenty of room for more improvement.

“We’re sitting here in the middle of the season,” Payton said. “He’s playing well. I’m excited. The film showed that he’s playing well. The film showed a few things though that I wanted to scream at him about. We’ll keep correcting those things.

“I like the way he prepares. I love the way he comes to work. I love his enthusiasm. I think it’s naturally contagious. I think he’s a winner. It’s interesting because you guys [in] real-time are seeing it just like we are. I’m real encouraged by that.”

Through 11 games this season, Nix has completed 65.5% of his passes for 2,275 yards with 14 touchdowns against six interceptions. He has also rushed for four touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass this season.

Nix is making a strong case for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, but Payton doesn’t want the hype to get out of control. After years of waiting for their next franchise quarterback, though, it’s hard to blame Broncos fans for being excited.

Javonte Williams had a great reaction to being pushed into end zone by teammates

“The cavalry came,” Broncos RB Javonte Williams said of being pushed into the end zone. He knew Quinn Meinerz was involved.

In the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams met Falcons safety Justin Simmons at about the five-yard line and was stood up.

Williams kept his legs moving and teammates soon arrived to help push him into the end zone for a touchdown.

“They just seen me and J-Sim one-on-one kind of at a stalemate and after that, the cavalry came,” Williams said of the play after the game.

Williams was picked up by his teammates and escorted into the end zone.

“I was in the air,” Williams said after the game. “That was all the o-line. From like the five-yard line on, that was all the o-line because my feet were in the air. So all the credit to them.”

After an eventual 38-6 victory, guard Quinn Meinerz detailed how pushing the pile dates back to his time in college.

“Pushing the pile, I’m going to give a shout-out to my offensive line coach at [Wisconsin-] Whitewater, Coach Brent Allen,” Meinerz said. “That was something that was instilled in us as Whitewater offensive linemen that — it was push the pile every time. Get to the pile, push the pile. We had tons of plays like that in college.”

Denver’s social media team had Williams break down the play after the game:

Williams knew Meinerz was involved during the play.

“Yeah, when my feet came out the ground and I was still moving, I said, it must be Quinn and somebody, because I know Quinn is going to be the one push,” Williams said.

Williams ended the day with nine carries for 59 yards and one touchdown. He also added four receptions for 28 yards as the Broncos improved to 6-5 with a convincing victory at home.

Von Miller shared perfect message to Broncos fans after beating Chiefs

Von Miller shared a perfect message to Broncos fans after the Bills beat the Chiefs on Sunday.

The Denver Broncos suffered a heartbreaking 16-14 road loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last week after the Chiefs blocked a last-second field goal attempt that could have been a game-winner for the Broncos.

One week later, Denver rebounded in a big way with a big 38-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons at home. The Broncos might have also got some satisfaction when they looked up scores after the game and saw that the Chiefs fell to the Buffalo Bills 30-21, marking KC’s first loss of the season.

Former Denver pass rusher Von Miller played a role in Buffalo’s win with two tackles (one behind the line), one quarterback hit and one sack for a nine-yard loss.

With that sack, Miller passed Derrick Thomas to rank 17th on the NFL’s all-time sack list with 127.5 career sacks. Miller, of course, wore No. 58 with the Broncos because Thomas was the player he grew up idolizing.

After beating the Chiefs, Miller took to social media with a perfect message to fans in Denver.

“Broncos Country … I gotchu!!!! 😉🐴” Miller wrote on his Instagram story.

He’s no longer a Bronco, but Miller’s still a thorn in the side of Kansas City’s offense, and he’s still beloved in Denver.

Broncos troll Kirk Cousins, NFC South with funny tweets

The Broncos had a perfect reaction on Twitter after beating Kirk Cousins and sweeping the NFC South.

After a convincing 38-6 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon, the Denver Broncos trolled quarterback Kirk Cousins and the entire NFC South division.

First up: a diamond-plated “W” necklace posted on their official Twitter/X page, a pretty obvious reference to Cousins and his “Kirko Chainz” nickname. Denver’s defense certainly got the best of Cousins on Sunday.

Cousins went 18-of-27 passing for 173 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. He was also sacked three times for losses of 21 yards and Atlanta’s offense only managed to score two field goals on the day.

Another great tweet from the Broncos’ official page featured a WWE meme video of the team taking care of business against the NFC South this fall. Denver went 4-0 against coach Sean Payton’s old division in 2024.

After sweeping the NFC South, the Broncos will now look to get their second AFC West victory of the season when they host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12.

Video of Broncos QBs answering questions ‘only girls should know’ goes viral

This is a must-watch video of Broncos quarterbacks Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson answering questions “only girls should know.”

Denver Broncos quarterbacks Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson recently went viral on TikTok after their wives asked them a series of questions that “only girls should know.”

Nix’s wife, Izzy, shared the video on TikTok and it quickly went viral. At the time of publication, the video has been viewed more than three million times on TikTok. The video has also been reuploaded on Twitter/X, and the reuploaded videos have also surpassed more than three million views.

“The way he sits up bc he got it right 🤣” one TikTok commenter said of Wilson’s reaction to answering one of the questions correctly.

Added another fan: “The type of content ESPN could never give us 😂”

Many fans noted that they loved seeing the three quarterbacks hanging out off the field.

“my qb room has movie night together 🤯😍😍” a fan commented on TikTok.

Added another: “wow elite QB room chemistry.”

After one fan commented “me finding out my QBs just chill together,” Izzy replied that the QBs get together every Thursday night (presumably to watch that week’s NFL game).

Bo, Jarrett and Zach hanging out and being quizzed by their girlfriends/wives. Good to see our QB room has fun

“The way Bo looks at Stiddy when Zach knows what a money piece is 😂😂” Romi Bean commented.

Stidham was definitely the most focused on the game. One commenter on TikTok relayed Stidham’s exclamation: “Jarrett locked in on the game ‘what is this guy doing!'”

Nix is Denver’s starting quarterback. Stidham and Wilson are the second- and third-string QBs, respectively. Clearly, they’re good friends off the field.

Broncos share adorable pregame video of John Franklin-Myers’ son

The Broncos need to make more of these videos!

Denver Broncos defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers was a huge addition to the team when he was acquired via trade during the 2024 NFL draft. And he’s not the only one having fun on game days.

Prior to the Broncos’ 28-14 win over the Carolina Panthers, the Denver social media team followed the steps of Franklin-Myers’ son, Kyler, who was mic’d up.

“I’m Kyler Franklin-Myers, and I like playing football,” the video begins. Kyler and his mother go to various booths at the tailgates that occur outside of Empower Field at Mile High. The first booth the Franklin-Myers’ family visits is the face painting, where Kyler gets “Aztec Broncos” on his face.

After face-painting, Kyler and his family go to the field, where Kyler enthusiastically greets his dad with a high five. Kyler starts stretching before talking to other players and passing a ball to himself. In the middle of tossing to himself, Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain playfully “intercepts” a pass, before giving the ball back to Kyler, who was not pleased with PS2.

Kyler finishes his pregame routine by throwing and handing out mini-footballs signed by his father. As he gives a football to a young boy, Kyler is asked, “Who’s it signed by?” “That’s my dad,” Kyler responds. “Is your dad a player? What’s his name?” “His name is John Franklin-Myers,” Kyler proudly responds.

Bo Nix trolls fantasy football managers who benched Courtland Sutton

“I feel bad for the people that sat him for fantasy this week,” Broncos QB Bo Nix said after WR Courtland Sutton’s big game on Sunday.

After drawing zero targets last week, Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton rebounded in a big way in Week 8 by totaling eight catches for 100 yards in a 28-14 win over the Carolina Panthers.

After the win, Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix praised Sutton’s performance, and he made a light-hearted dig at fantasy football managers who did not start the receiver on Sunday.

“It was huge, I thought he came to play today,” Nix said. “He had several great opportunities, made the most of them and he was a good target for us today. It started early in the game and then he was just kind of feeling it.

“I thought that was a good part of our game plan. We really wanted to get him involved, and I thought it was really good. I feel bad for the people that sat him for fantasy this week.”

In point-per-reception formats, Sutton turned in an 18-point performance on Sunday. Fans in Denver (and fantasy football managers) would love to see that kind of production continue.

Bo Nix had a funny reaction to Courtland Sutton’s impressive passing stats

“He is coming for our jobs in the quarterback room,” Broncos QB Bo Nix said after WR Courtland Sutton completed a pass on Sunday.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton threw a 28-yard pass to fullback Michael Burton in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 28-14 win over the Carolina Panthers.

With that completion, Sutton is now a perfect 3-of-3 on passing attempts in his career. Those three throws went for 82 yards and three first downs, giving Sutton a 118.7 passer rating (better than Bo Nix’s 81.4 rating this fall).

Nix had a funny reaction to Sutton’s throw after the game.

“He put some arc and pace on it,” Nix said. “I thought it was a really good back shoulder there. It was impressive. He is coming for our jobs in the quarterback room. I thought that was good. Obviously, it was a fourth down and we needed it.”

Sutton deflected praise to Burton when asked about the play.

“It was something that once we started practicing during the week, I was like, ‘All right, [I] feel good about it,'” Sutton said. “Depending how the game goes — sometimes it gets called and sometimes it doesn’t get called. So it was cool to be able to have that opportunity, but outside of me, I’m more happy that I was able to throw it to ‘Burt’ and get him involved in the game.

“He does a lot of the dirty work on offense for us and on special teams. So to be able to complete a pass to him and for him to be involved in the offensive performance that we had, it was pretty cool.”

In addition to the pass, Sutton also totaled eight receptions for 100 yards, marking his first 100-yard game of the season. Sunday was a big day for the veteran wide receiver.
