As the ever-controversial LIV Golf League returned to London for a ninth event this season, the latest tournament brought with it one of the strangest introductions to a golf function you’re ever going to see.

A flash mob appeared on the green to perform a choreographed dance number to LMFAO’s 2009 club song “Party Rock Anthem.”

It was a cringey as you could imagine, and the memes instantly sprouted up from the internet in reaction to this absolutely bizarre golf flash mob extravaganza.

It’s the second event in as many weeks for the circuit funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, as Talor Gooch took home the title last week in Spain for his third win in the last five LIV tournaments.
