Despite dealing with off-field distractions, UT produced a good win over Kansas State. Five reasons the Longhorns pulled it off.

It was a week filled with distractions surrounding the Texas program. Constant updates and rumors about who was going to be the next head coach ruled the day. Despite that, the Longhorns blocked out the noise and got back on track with an impressive win over Kansas State.

Both sides of the ball were brilliant at times. Especially on the offensive end on the ground. Running backs Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson carried the offense, combining for 399 rushing yards.

For the defense, it was about forcing turnovers. The defense put Sam Ehlinger in advantageous positions to get extra points on the board. Allowing 31 points may not seem the best, but it was an impressive performance.
