The Mayakoba Golf Classic will feature its strongest field ever as it returns to El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It will be the PGA Tour’s final individual stroke-play event of 2020. Tournament play will resume Jan. 7-10 with the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii. Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings for the top 30 golfers at the 2020 Mayakoba Golf Classic.

2020 Mayakoba Golf Classic: Fantasy Golf Top 30

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Odds last updated Monday at 8:49 p.m. ET.

30. Gary Woodland (+7000)

The 2019 U.S. Open champ has had a year to forget. Woodland missed the cut at the 2020 U.S. Open and Masters and has just two top 10s in 13 events since the mid-June restart. He was the runner-up here in 2016 and hasn’t finished worse than 41st in four appearances.

29. Sepp Straka (+9000)

Straka has made four straight cuts, including a T-5 at the Houston Open. He’s averaging 0.74 Strokes Gained: Approach to start his 2020-21 season, according to Data Golf.

28. Pat Perez (+10000)

Perez would be priced among the favorites if it weren’t for the much stronger field this year. He won here in 2016 and finished sixth and eighth in 2018 and 2019, respectively. He averages 1.38 strokes gained on the field per round over 30 career rounds played at El Camaleon GC.

27. Wesley Bryan (+15000)

Bryan has bounced between the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour in 2020 without much success on either circuit, but his approach game has been very strong, and he’s well suited to the shorter venue.

26. Brian Harman (+5000)

Harman’s missed cut at the RSM Classic two weeks ago was his first since the Memorial Tournament. His best result in that stretch was a T-11 in a strong field at the Northern Trust to begin the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

25. Alex Noren (+7000)

Noren is one of the many golfers making their debut at the Mayakoba Golf Classic this week. He has been leaning heavily on his putter but has three top-20 finishes in his last five events, including a T-17 at the U.S. Open.

24. Keegan Bradley (+5000)

Faltered late to finish T-15 at the RSM Classic and finished T-4 against a somewhat similar strength of field at the Sanderson Farms Championship. He has averaged 0.95 SG: Approach through his last 19 measured rounds.

23. Carlos Ortiz (+5000)

Ortiz returns to play for the first time since winning the Houston Open and booking his ticket to the 2021 Masters in April. He was the runner-up here a year ago but against a much weaker field.

22. Byeong Hun An (+10000)

Missed the cut in his lone appearance here in 2017, but his typically strong approach game and slower, softer greens should play well in Playa del Carmen.

21. Doug Ghim (+8000)

Averaging 0.95 SG: Approach through 11 measured rounds on the 2020-21 season. Also tied for 14th on Tour in Par 4 Scoring early in the campaign and should be able to score on the most important holes here.

20. Chez Reavie (+5000)

Struggling early in the 2020-21 season with a top finish of T-29 in his last five events oddly coming at the Masters. His approach play should be well-suited to the course.

19. Emiliano Grillo (+4500)

Ranks second in this field among those with at least 10 rounds played here with an average of 1.59 strokes gained on the field per round. Cracked the top 10 in both 2016 and 2017.

18. Harold Varner III (+6600)

Also has two top-10 finishes in this event, albeit against weaker competition than in attendance this week. Averaging 1.27 SG: Tee-to-Green through his last 13 rounds.

17. Sebastian Munoz (+5500)

Followed up a surprise T-19 showing at the Masters with a missed cut at the RSM Classic the following week. His iron play has been strong and he should have an easier time on the more favorable greens this week.

16. Rickie Fowler (+3300)

More name value than anything else in recent years, Fowler is still fairly accurate off the tee, and he was the runner-up here in 2017 against weaker competition.

15. Joel Dahmen (+5500)

Hasn’t missed the cut in any of three appearances and had a top finish of sixth last year. He tied for eighth in a strong field at the Zozo Championship but tied for 50th at the RSM Classic two weeks ago.

14. Will Zalatoris (+3300)

The Korn Ferry Tour graduate hasn’t played since a T-16 result at the Bermuda Championship. He finished in the top 10 in two of four events since his breakthrough T-6 at the US Open.

13. Billy Horschel (+4000)

Finished eighth in 2019 for his best career showing in Playa del Carmen. He has been struggling on approach, but he’s setting himself up well off the tee and should hit the tight fairways.

12. Marc Leishman (+5500)

The winner of the Farmers Insurance Open in late January, Leishman bounced back from a poor stretch of play since the restart with a T-13 showing at Augusta National Golf Club. He positions well off the tee and should have a better putting performance on these friendly greens.

11. Viktor Hovland (+2000)

Has three top-15 results in his last four events, including a T-13 at the U.S. Open. Missed the cut in his debut here last year but has played the weekend in all but three of 22 events in 2020.

10. Russell Henley (+2500)

Henley also missed the cut here last year after finishing 29th in 2018. He tied for third at the CJ Cup and for fourth at the Zozo Championship against small but elite fields.

9. Joaquin Niemann (+3500)

An expert ball-striker when he’s on, Niemann finished just T-44 at the RSM Classic after having to withdraw from the Masters. Another notable to miss the cut here last year just a couple of months after his first career win at A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier.

8. Brendon Todd (+4500)

Last year’s champion will defend against much stiffer competition. He has just one top-10 result in 2020 after winning twice last year.

7. Corey Conners (+2800)

Tied for 10th at the Masters and the RSM Classic. Averaging 0.60 SG: Approach and 0.59 SG: Off-the-Tee through 21 measured rounds on the young season.

6. Brooks Koepka (+1200)

Seems to be back on track with a T-5 at the Houston Open and a T-7 at the Masters following a largely disappointing 2019-20 campaign for the four-time major champ. He won’t have his usual length advantage, but he should be motivated to end the year on a high point.

5. Abraham Ancer (+1800)

Two top-10 finishes in his last three appearances and has played here each of the last five years. His approach game has long been a strength, but he’s averaging just 0.09 SG: Approach over his last 16 measured rounds.

4. Tony Finau (+2000)

Will make his fifth appearance at this event with two missed cuts and a top finish of seventh in his 2014 debut. He’s averaging 1.95 SG: Tee-to-Green and 1.06 SG: Approach through 16 rounds on the season.

3. Daniel Berger (+2000)

The most notable omission from the 2020 Masters Tournament will be there in April. Berger’s the second-best player in attendance while ranked sixth in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings.

2. Harris English (+1600)

Has three top-10 finishes in his last five events, including a fourth-place showing at the U.S. Open. He won here in his debut in 2013, but has just one other top-10 finish in his ensuing seven appearances.

1. Justin Thomas (+600)

The top-ranked golfer in attendance at No. 5 in the Golfweek rankings. His distance won’t be tested here so he’ll be able to rely on iron play that’s nearly unrivaled in this field.

Vivint Houston Open: Fantasy golf power rankings

Check out the top 30 players to bet on in this week’s field for the Vivint Houston Open.

The 2020 Masters Tournament is just one week away.

This week, however, the PGA Tour and many of the world’s best golfers make one more stop at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas, for the Vivint Houston Open. Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings for the top 30 golfers.

Fantasy golf power rankings

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Odds last updated Monday at 11:44 p.m. ET.

30. Shane Lowry (+5500)

The 2019 Champion Golfer of the Year has just two top-10 finishes but seven missed cuts in 20 international events in 2020. He has a poor history at the Masters, including missed cuts in 2019 and 2017, and may be more focused on this event than the ‘big-name’ golfers usually are.

29. Cameron Davis (+7000)

Enters the week 37th in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings following a T-6 at the Sanderson Farms Championship and T-52 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Averaging 0.55 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green and 0.46 SG: Putting through 12 measured rounds on the 2020-21 season, according to Data Golf.

28. Si Woo Kim (+5000)

Followed up a T-8 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open with a T-17 finish in a strong field at the CJ Cup. Is averaging 0.89 SG: Tee-to-Green over his last 18 rounds.

27. Stewart Cink (+6600)

The 47-year-old has made four straight cuts with a win at the Safeway Open and a T-4 at the Bermuda Championship last week. He’s in great form after getting his first win in 11 years.

26. Alex Noren (+9000)

Likewise, Noren has been playing his best PGA Tour golf in some time with three top 10s in 18 events this year. He won’t participate in the 2020 Masters but can book his ticket to the 2021 tournament with a win this week.

25. Kevin Streelman (+8000)

Steelman was playing his best golf early in the PGA Tour’s mid-summer restart but cooled off with back-to-back missed cuts at the U.S. Open and Shriners.

24. Wyndham Clark (+8000)

Comes off a disappointing playoff loss to Brian Gay at the Bermuda Championship last week after charging up the leaderboard with a Sunday 65. It may be difficult to bounce back one week later.

23. Brandt Snedeker (+9000)

The nine-time PGA Tour champ will be heading to Augusta National next week and will be looking to do so on a positive note with just one top-10 result on the year.

22. Lee Westwood (+8000)

Heads back to the Masters for the first time since 2017 after re-entering the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking much earlier this year. He tied for 13th at the U.S. Open in his only PGA Tour event since the restart.

21. MacKenzie Hughes (+10000)

Hughes, 55th in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, is one of the top players in this week’s field by that measure who won’t be in the Masters next week. He has six top 10s in 20 events this year for one of his most successful years on Tour.

Place your legal, online 2020 Houston Open bets in CO, IN, NJ, TN and WV at BetMGM. Risk-free first bet! Terms and conditions apply. Bet Now!

20. Brian Harman (+5000)

The 22nd-ranked golfer in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings doesn’t have a win since 2017 but will look to join the trend of players snapping those long slumps early in the 2020-21 season.

19. Keegan Bradley (+8000)

The 2011 PGA Championship winner won’t attend the Masters for the third time in the last four years. He should be motivated to secure another invitation with a win after dropping to 122nd in the OWGR.

18. Emiliano Grillo (+8000)

Has made nine straight cuts dating back to late July with two top 10s and a best finish of T-3 at the 3M Open in that span. His short game and putter have been weaknesses.

17. Sergio Garcia (+3500)

Followed up victory at the Sanderson Farms Championship with a T-43 at the Shriners and a T-21 at the CJ Cup. Continues to struggle with the flat stick but has been great off-the-tee and from tee-to-green.

16. Lanto Griffin (+4500)

Got his first PGA Tour win in this event last year but that was at Golf Club of Houston. He comes off a T-7 at the CJ Cup and a T-11 at the Zozo Championship to show he could defend his title against stiffer competition.

15. Zach Johnson (+4500)

Tied for eighth at the US Open as part of a five-event streak of making the cut. Averaging 0.98 SG: Tee-to-Green with 0.97 SG: Putting through 12 rounds early this season.

14. Jason Day (+3500)

Likely one of those looking ahead to next week but found his top form this summer and could get his first win since 2018 against a more moderate field.

13. Russell Henley (+2200)

Ranks 27th in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings following a T-3 at the CJ Cup and T-4 at the Zozo Championship, both against elite fields. Won’t be going to the Masters but can take advantage of his top current form and book his ticket for 2021 with a win.

12. Denny McCarthy (+6600)

Tied for fourth in a considerably weaker field last week and is putting the ball extremely well to compensate for other weaknesses in his current form.

11. Corey Conners (+5000)

Will be going to Augusta next week and is coming off a T-8 at the Zozo Championship. He’s now playing his best golf of the year after a largely disappointing 2020.

10. Adam Scott (+3300)

Has played just six PGA Tour events since winning in back-to-back starts at the Australian PGA Championship and The Genesis Invitational to bridge his 2019 and 2020 calendars. Should be motivated to play a full four rounds.

9. Hideki Matsuyama (+1800)

Averaging 1.75 SG: Tee-to-Green over his last 14 rounds but with 0.35 strokes lost putting per round. That’s a part of his game he’ll need to get right before another run at Augusta.

8. Doc Redman (+5000)

Entered Sunday with the 54-hole lead in Bermuda before finishing T-4. He has been steadily climbing the OWGR with three top-5 finishes since the PGA Championship.

7. Tony Finau (+1600)

Finished in a tie for 11th at the Zozo Championship in his first event since a T-8 at the US Open. He’s the third-best player in the field by the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.

6. Sungjae Im (+2800)

Few were in as good of form before the midseason suspension of play as Im. He’s struggling around-the-green and with the putter through 20 rounds on the new season.

5. Dustin Johnson (+700)

A co-runner-up at last year’s Masters, Johnson will be looking to get right and loosened up after sitting out of competitive play since the U.S. Open due to a positive COVID-19 result. He’s looking for his third win since the restart.

4. Brooks Koepka (+2000)

Koepka tied for 28th at the CJ Cup after some time off to rest a nagging knee injury. He’s always a major risk in these sorts of events, but he had a hand in the Memorial Park redesign and has a sizable advantage.

3. Scottie Scheffler (+2000)

The PGA Tour’s 2020 Rookie of the Year will make his first appearance at the Masters next week. Is looking to recapture his top form after missing the U.S. Open due to a positive COVID-19 test.

2. Tyrrell Hatton (+1200)

Hatton’s a surprise participant this week after earning his second win of 2020 at the European Tour’s BMW PGA Championship last month. He returned to North America with a T-3 at The CJ Cup before a T-28 at the Zozo Championship.

1. Viktor Hovland (+2200)

The best player in this week’s field won’t be playing at Augusta National despite winning the Puerto Rico Open and finishing as the low amateur at last year’s Masters and U.S. Open. He will be there next year after moving into the top 50 of the OWGR but will still be motivated for his first full-point win.

CJ Cup at Shadow Creek fantasy golf power rankings

Check out our top 30 players this week for the PGA Tour’s second consecutive event in Las Vegas, the CJ Cup at Shadow Creek.

The CJ Cup will be played at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the first time this week.

It’s the first event of the PGA Tour’s relocated and abbreviated Asia swing and will be followed by the Zozo Championship next week. Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings for the top 30 golfers for the 2020 CJ Cup at Shadow Creek.

This week’s event includes an exceptionally strong 78-man field featuring seven of the top 10 golfers in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings. Brooks Koepka (No. 69) makes his return to tournament play for the first time since the Wyndham Championship.

Fantasy Golf Top 30

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Odds last updated Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. ET.

30. Brendon Todd (+8000)

Todd’s coming off a rare multi-week break following a T-23 finish at the U.S. Open. He showed well at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational with a T-15 and a T-8 at the BMW Championship. Both were no-cut events.

29. Bubba Watson (+7000)

Has never competed in the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges in South Korea but will tee it up in Las Vegas. At 7,527 yards and with wide fairways, Shadow Creek seems a natural fit for Watson.

28. Matthew Fitzpatrick (+4500)

A regular contender on the European Tour, Fitzpatrick’s coming off a T-7 at last week’s BMW PGA Championship. He tied for sixth at the BMW Championship in the FedEx Cup Playoffs against similar competition and without a cut.

27. Justin Rose (+6600)

Five missed cuts in his last eight events but with a ninth-place finish at the PGA Championship mixed in. His iron play is well suited for the rolling elevation of Shadow Creek.

26. Scottie Scheffler (+4000)

Missed the cut last week in a moderate field at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open and is still looking for his form of the PGA Championship and FedEx Cup Playoffs after having to withdraw from the U.S. Open due to a positive COVID-19 test.

25. Ian Poulter (+9000)

Coming off back-to-back top-6 finishes on the European Tour. He tied for 16th at last year’s CJ Cup in South Korea and typically plays his best in these stronger fields.

24. Alex Noren (+9000)

Tied for 18th at the 2018 CJ Cup at Nine Bridges. Finished T-22 and T-17 at the PGA Championship and US Open, respectively, and will be competing against most of the same top names from each of those three events once again.

23. Si Woo Kim (+9000)

Finished T-8 at last week’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. He was the fourth among those in last week’s field making the short trip over to Shadow Creek this week.

22. Sergio Garcia (+5500)

The winner of the Sanderson Farms Championship, Garcia followed it up with a T-43 last week against tougher competition. His putter and short game abandoned him last week, as he lost 0.51 strokes per round putting, according to Data Golf.

21. Jason Day (+6000)

Lost 1.58 strokes per round around the green last week en route to a missed cut. He ranked first on the PGA Tour in SG: Around-the-Green last season and will need to recapture that form with Shadow Creek’s troublesome run-off areas.

Looking to place a bet on the 2020 CJ Cup at Shadow Creek? Place your legal, online bets in CO, IN, NJ and WV at BetMGMBet Now!

20. Abraham Ancer (+5000)

Coming off a fourth-place finish last week in which he ranked second in the field with 2.08 Strokes Gained: Putting per round. He’ll need to lean more heavily on an approach game that struggled last week.

19. Sungjae Im (+3300)

Averaged 0.63 SG: Tee-to-Green in the 2019-20 season. Ranked third in the field in that metric last week and led the field with 1.63 SG: Off-the-Tee per round while finishing T-13.

18. Paul Casey (+6000)

Was playing very well from a T-2 finish at the PGA Championship through the FedEx Cup Playoffs and a T-17 finish at the U.S. Open before a missed cut last week. He tied for 18th in this event last year in South Korea.

17. Viktor Hovland (+3300)

Hasn’t played competitively since a T-13 finish at the US Open. Was one of the best in the world in SG: Approach and SG: Off-the-Tee on the 2019-20 season but will need to be better than usual around the greens at Shadow Creek.

16. Harris English (+4000)

His missed cut last week was his first since the Charles Schwab Challenge in mid-June. Hasn’t played in a no-cut WGC event since 2016 and has never played the CJ Cup in South Korea.

15. Daniel Berger (+3500)

Tied for 17th at the Zozo Championship but didn’t compete in the CJ Cup last year. His win at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T-2 result at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational and third-place finish at The Northern Trust all came against this week’s top competition.

[vertical-gallery id=778069962]

14. Tony Finau (+3000)

Expected to make his return this week after withdrawing from the Shriners due to a positive COVID test. He was T-8 at the U.S. Open and T-4 at the PGA Championship and should once again finish near the top of a stacked leaderboard.

13. Brooks Koepka (+3000)

Teeing it up for the first time since a missed cut at the Wyndham Championship after an extended break to recover from knee and hip injuries. Looking to reprove himself as one of the world’s best golfers late in a 2020 season that has seen him record just two top-10 results through 13 events.

12. Louis Oosthuizen (+4500)

Tied for 29th at the 2018 CJ Cup but didn’t play last year. His play around the greens left plenty to be desired last season but his putter can cover up a lot of his mistakes when in top form.

11. Tommy Fleetwood (+4000)

Tied for third at the European Tour’s Portugal Masters and was the runner-up at the Scottish Open on either side of a missed cut at the U.S. Open. He tied for 13th last week in the BMW PGA Championship and will hope his elite form on the Euro circuit can follow him back to the USA this time.

10. Collin Morikawa (+2500)

The 2020 PGA Championship winner has struggled ever since his victory at TPC Harding Park. He missed the cut at both the U.S. Open and the Shriners but his iron play and approach game are well-suited to a Shadow Creek course where ball positioning is key.

9. Hideki Matsuyama (+2500)

Matsuyama is a staple contender at no-cut events such as WGCs, and he finished third at last year’s CJ Cup. He was third at the BMW Championship in the FedEx Cup Playoffs with this week’s format and strength of fielding nearly mirroring that event.

8. Xander Schauffele (+1400)

Followed up a co-runner-up finish at the Tour Championship with a fifth-place result at the U.S. Open and enters off a lengthy break. His play from tee to green will help him succeed on the rolling fairways.

7. Rory McIlroy (+1200)

Enters the week third in the Golfweek rankings but hasn’t won an event in 14 tries this calendar year. He has six top 10s, including a T-8 at the U.S. Open, but he was just T-47 at the last WGC event.

6. Patrick Cantlay (+2500)

The native of Long Beach, California, typically plays well on the West Coast, and especially in Las Vegas. He finished T-8 last week with a disappointing fourth-round performance but gained 0.78 strokes per round around the green.

5. Tyrrell Hatton (+2800)

Won last week’s BMW PGA Championship in a stacked European Tour field. He’s 10th by the betting odds to win this week back in North America.

4. Matthew Wolff (+2200)

Wolff is sixth by the betting odds to win off of a T-2 finish at the Shriners where he ranked fifth in the field with 2.24 SG: Tee-to-Green per round. He ranks second on Tour with 2.65 strokes gained per round on the average Tour pro over his last 20 rounds.

3. Dustin Johnson (+900)

Leads the PGA Tour with 3.90 strokes gained per round on the average pro across his last 20 rounds. Tied for second at the PGA Championship and for sixth at the U.S. Open, with a win at The Northern Trust and a runner-up finish at the BMW Championship.

2. Jon Rahm (+1000)

The top-ranked player in the Golfweek rankings finished just T-23 at the US Open but will benefit from the considerably wider fairways. Averaged 1.57 SG: Tee-to-Green per round last season.

1. Justin Thomas (+1100)

A two-time winner of this event when played in South Korea. His last victory was at the WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational where he went 66-70-66-65 to finish at minus-13. He also fired three rounds of 66 en route to a co-runner-up finish at the Tour Championship.

The 2018 champ has just two top 10s on the PGA Tour since. He’s back down to 233rd in the Official World Golf Ranking.

20. Matt Jones (+5000)

A two-time winner of the Emirates Australian Open, Jones hasn’t won on the PGA Tour since the 2015 Shell Houston Open. He was T-18 at this event last year and finished T-5 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am before the 2020 schedule was put on pause.

19. Patrick Rodgers (+5000)

Can putt his way to victory against these weaker fields. Returned from the midseason pause with a T-14 at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

Looking for his first PGA Tour victory since 2015 and coming off a T-9 at the Safeway Open, where he gained 1.82 strokes per round putting.

17. Chris Stroud (+8000)

Last year’s co-runner-up by a stroke. He has missed the cut or withdrew from his last four events.

16. Keith Mitchell (+5500)

The 2019 champ of The Honda Classic has missed the cut in eight of 16 events in 2020. His victory came in a much stronger field than what’s competing this week.

15. Branden Grace (+4500)

Grace’s best performance of 2020 was his victory at the South African Open, with a top PGA Tour result of T-9 at the Waste Management Open in early February.

14. Sepp Straka (+4000)

Tied for 26th here last year. Averaged 0.58 SG: Tee-to-Green and 0.66 SG: Around-the-Green at the Safeway Open with a T-14 finish.

13. Luke List (+4000)

Won the Korn Ferry Challenge at TPC Sawgrass while the PGA Tour season was still paused. Will be facing similar competition this week.

12. Denny McCarthy (+3500)

Picked up four top 10s in 2019 and was T-9 at this year’s Wyndham Championship. Averaged 1.00 SG: Putting last season.

11. Adam Long (+2200)

One of the top players in the field at 42nd by the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings. Tied for 13th at the US Open.

10. Kristoffer Ventura (+4000)

Tied for seventh at the Safeway Open for his best PGA Tour result after winning twice on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019.

9. Matthias Schwab (+4000)

Has a top finish of T-3 at the Barracuda Championship in 12 international events this year with just three missed cuts. Those three missed cuts came at the Memorial Tournament, PGA Championship and US Open.

8. Sam Burns (+2000)

Fourth by the betting odds to win. Coming off a T-7 at the Safeway Open with 1.87 SG: Tee-to-Green per round.

7. Emiliano Grillo (+2800)

On a stretch of five straight made cuts, including a T-66 at the PGA Championship. Finished T-50 here in 2018 and didn’t participate last year.

6. Charles Howell III (+2500)

Three-time PGA Tour champ with the last coming at the 2018 RSM Classic. Finished 30th last week at the US Open and is one of few players who made the cut at Winged Foot teeing it up this week.

5. Henrik Stenson (+3500)

The 2016 Open champ has missed the cut in three of four PGA Tour events this season, including both majors but is still the clear class of this field.

4. Corey Conners (+1600)

Shares the second-best odds to win the tournament with fellow Canadian Mackenzie Hughes. He has had the significantly worse 2020 form with seven missed cuts in 18 events.

3. Graeme McDowell (+5000)

Last year’s winner has missed four straight cuts coming into this week, including both 2020 majors to date, but he won the marquee Saudi International on the European Tour earlier this year.

2. Will Zalatoris (+1200)

The Korn Ferry Tour graduate tied for sixth at the US Open and is the top player in attendance from that event. He’s a little overpriced as the tournament favorite with just the one PGA Tour event played this year.

1. Mackenzie Hughes (+1600)

No. 2 by the betting odds, Hughes was in excellent form through the FedEx Cup Playoffs, especially with the putter. If he can regain that form after missing the cut at the US Open, he’ll cruise to victory over this field.

27. Branden Grace (+7000)

Was tied for second in a weak field at the Barracuda Championship before being forced to withdraw due to a positive COVID-19 test. He missed the cut in his four previous events and the ensuing Wyndham Championship, but he did tie for 19th at the Charles Schwab Challenge in the return to golf.

26. Luke List (+6000)

Missed the cut in this event last year following a fourth-place finish in 2018. Tied for 10th in an incredibly strong field at the Memorial Tournament after winning the Korn Ferry Tour’s Korn Ferry Challenge in June.

25. Lucas Glover (+6600)

24. Rafa Cabrera Bello (+8000)

Missed out on the FedEx Cup Playoffs with a T-37 finish at the Wyndham Championship. Had five top 10s in strong-field events on the European Tour in 2019 and can certainly compete in this event.

23. Bud Cauley (+4500)

Tied for 15th at the Wyndham Championship ahead of a missed cut at the Northern Trust to end his 2019-20 season. Has 16 rounds played at this venue with an average of 0.77 strokes gained per round.

22. Talor Gooch (+5000)

Had his 2019-20 season end with a T-65 at the BMW Championship and is one of the few to make it that far in the FedEx Cup Playoffs to be playing this week. Finished T-56 last year.

21. Jordan Spieth (+3000)

Returned to play with a T-10 at the Charles Schwab Challenge but had just one other top-20 finish before his season ended with a missed cut at the Northern Trust. Making his debut at Silverado Resort.

20. Xinjun Zhang (+10000)

Twenty career rounds played at this venue with an average of 0.32 strokes gained per round. Averaging 0.67 SG: Putting in 2020.

18. Brandt Snedeker (+4500)

Finished T-17 last year on the heels of a runner-up showing in 2018. Has a top finish of T-3 at the Farmers Insurance Open in 2020.

17. Sam Burns (+4000)

Missed the cut in his only appearance at this event to date but has made the cut in 10 of 15 events in 2020, topped by a T-6 finish in a much stronger field at the American Express.

16. Henrik Norlander (+6600)

Had a surprising T-6 finish in the difficult conditions of the Memorial but didn’t finish better than T-23 in the following three events. Missed the cut last year due largely to a particularly poor putting performance.

15. J.B. Holmes (+8000)

Finished ninth in 2018 in his lone appearance at this event. Had three top-20 finishes in his first five events of 2020 but has played just once since play resumed after the midseason pause.

14. Keegan Bradley (+5000)

Tied for 29th at the Northern Trust but was still eliminated from the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Has missed the cut in four of 14 events in 2020, but the former major champ should show well against this competition.

13. Erik Van Rooyen (+3300)

Very strong tee-to-green game and needs only to be adequate with the putter.

12. Doc Redman (+3300)

Debuted at this event with a missed cut last year while gaining 1.04 strokes per round off-the-tee but losing 1.03 strokes putting. Tied for third in a quality field at the Wyndham.

11. Shane Lowry (+3000)

One of the few past major champions in the field. Tied for sixth in the strong field of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

Joel Dahmen hits his tee shot on the 16th hole during the first round of the BMW Championship. (Photo: Brian Spurlock – USA TODAY Sports)

10. Joel Dahmen (+2500)

Gained 1.98 strokes per round from tee-to-green and 1.45 around-the-green last year but missed the cut with 2.05 strokes lost putting per round. Tied for 10th in the PGA Championship.

9. Mark Hubbard (+4500)

The best player in the field by the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings at No. 23. Advanced to the BMW Championship before falling short of the Tour Championship.

8. Chez Reavie (+3300)

Tied for 33rd here each of the last two years following a 13th-place finish in 2017. Shared a T-6 with Lowry at the no-cut WGC event.

7. Brendan Steele (+2200)

Has averaged 1.47 strokes gained per round over 24 career rounds at this venue. Won back-to-back in 2016 and 2017.

6. Harold Varner III (+2500)

Averaged 1.19 SG: Off-the-Tee and 1.54 SG: Tee-to-Green last year while finishing T-17. Finished 14th the year prior and hasn’t missed a cut in his five appearances.

5. Kevin Streelman (+4000)

Has made the cut in seven straight events but hasn’t cracked the top 30 since a runner-up at the Travelers Championship and a T-7 at the Workday Charity Open. Will have better success against the weaker competition.

4. Emiliano Grillo (+3000)

The winner of this event in 2015, Grillo missed the cut for the first time last year. He tied for third at the 3M Open and for ninth at the Barracuda Championship with both against a comparable strength of field.

3. Phil Mickelson (+2000)

Lefty debuted on the PGA Tour Champions with a wire-to-wire victory after his 2019-20 PGA Tour season was cut short. Has averaged 1.60 strokes gained per round over 14 rounds at Silverado Resort. He’s the co-betting favorite in his return to the PGA Tour.

2. Sergio Garcia (+2800)

The former Masters champ is averaging 1.68 SG: Tee-to-Green but losing 0.69 strokes putting per round in 2020. A neutral performance makes him the class of this field in his debut.

1. Si Woo Kim (+2000)

Followed up a T-13 at the PGA Championship with a T-3 at the Wyndham Championship before being eliminated from the FEC Playoffs at The Northern Trust. Opened as this week’s betting favorite before Mickelson was bet down over night.

Tiger Woods’ odds, best prop bets for the BMW Championship

Feeling lucky? Here’s how you can bet on Tiger Woods at the 2020 BMW Championship in Chicago.

The FedExCup Playoffs continue this week with the BMW Championship at Olympia Fields Country Club just outside Chicago.

Tiger Woods was able to advance to the second of the three season-ending events despite a disappointing finish last week at the Northern Trust. The 15-time major champion slipped in the FedEx Cup standings from 49th to 57th in the and will need to finish in at least the top-eight if he wants to qualify for next week’s Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

Below, we look at Woods’ odds to win the 2020 BMW Championship and his most interesting prop bets for this week’s PGA Tour event.

BMW Championship: Fantasy golf power rankings

History at Olympia Fields

Woods is one of few in the field with any meaningful experience at Olympia Fields CC. The last PGA Tour event played here was the 2003 US Open. Woods finished in a tie for 20th at plus-3. His second round of 4-under, 66 was his best.

The par-70 course measures 7,366 yards and features Bluegrass (Poa Annua) greens. The fairways are guarded by tight tree lines and fairway bunkers further narrow the landing areas. The heavily-sloped greens are the course’s greatest challenge to scoring low.

Odds to win

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Tuesday at 6:22 a.m. ET.

Woods is +4000 to win the 2020 BMW Championship, something he’ll need to come close to doing in order to extend his season. He has won this tournament twice before (2007 and 2009), but both of those victories were at different courses.

Tiger finished T-37 while experimenting with a new putter at the PGA Championship. He lost 0.02 strokes per round putting in the event and reverted back to his famed Scotty Cameron flat stick last week at the Northern Trust. He went on to lose 0.44 strokes per round and finished T-58.

He dropped to ninth in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings with last week’s result but is still a relative value while ranked 16th by the betting odds. His final-round 66 last week is enough incentive to place a small wager on Tiger Woods to win the BMW Championship.

New to sports betting? A $10 bet on Tiger to win the BMW Championship would return a profit of $400.

Best props

Top-10 finish: +300

Using the motivation of continuing on through the FedExCup Playoffs, place a small wager on Tiger to finish inside the top 10 and give himself a chance to get to East Lake for a triple-up on your investment. He has just one top 10 this season other than his Zozo Championship victory, but he finally showed some promise with his final round last week.

Lowest score over 72 holes – Group D: +340

Woods has +340 odds to post the best tournament score in a group with Harris English (+300), Kevin Kisner (+330), Tyrrell Hatton (+400) and Viktor Hovland (+400). All four have been in a better form of late and much more active since the PGA Tour’s restart.

PASS on a bet here, as Tiger is more likely to be focused on the US Open (Sept. 17-20) and Masters (Nov. 12-15) in the fall schedule.

The top-70 golfers in the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup standings have moved on to Olympia Fields Country Club just outside of Chicago for this week’s BMW Championship, the second of three events in the Tour’s season-ending FedEx Cup Playoffs.

After his runaway Northern Trust win, Dustin Johnson sits 92 points ahead of second-place Justin Thomas. Webb Simpson is in third, followed by Daniel Berger and Collin Morikawa.

The top 30 in the standings after this week will advance to the Tour Championship at Atlanta’s East Lake Golf club for the finale of the 2019-20 season.

Below, we take a look at the fantasy golf power rankings for the top 30 competitors in the 2020 BMW Championship at Olympia Fields.

Fantasy golf power rankings

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Odds last updated Monday at 5:15 p.m. ET.

30. Matt Kuchar (+6000)

Tied for 18th last week following his missed cut at the PGA Championship. He has been quiet this season since winning the SMBC Singapore Open with no other top 10s but for a T-2 at the Genesis Invitational. He needs a big week to crack the top 30 and get to East Lake.

29. Corey Conners (+10000)

Fourth among those who made the cut last week with 0.75 Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee per round, according to Data Golf. His approach game wasn’t as sharp as usual, preventing a top finish.

28. Matthew Wolff (+5000)

Has now made five straight cuts, including his T-4 at the PGA Championship to move up to 33rd in the FedEx Cup standings. He has been especially sharp off-the-tee of late and ranks 13th on Tour for the 2019-20 season.

27. Tiger Woods (+4000)

A disappointing showing last week but closed it off with a Sunday round of 66 to move into a tie for 58th. He dropped to 57th in the FedEx Cup standings and needs to finish in the top eight this week to have a chance of moving on.

26. Louis Oosthuizen (+5000)

Enters the week 70th in the FedEx Cup standings and qualified for this event with his strong T-13 finish last week. Tied for sixth in the no-cut WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational earlier this month.

25. Abraham Ancer (+6000)

Missed the cut last week at plus-1 while uncharacteristically losing 1.57 strokes per round from tee-to-green. He’s averaging 0.95 strokes per round in that category in 2020 and should rebound.

24. Tony Finau (+3500)

Snapped a streak of five straight made cuts last week. He had previously rung up three top 10s and two top 5s in those five events. Ranks 29th in the FedEx Cup standings and is just inside the line for the Tour Championship.

23. Ryan Palmer (+8000)

His T-8 showing last week was his third top 10 in eight events since the restart. His short game has been exceptionally strong, but he’ll need to be better off-the-tee this week.

22. Patrick Cantlay (+3300)

Lost 1.73 strokes per round putting last week in an abysmal performance on the greens resulting in a missed cut. Sits 37th in the FEC standings while looking for his first top 10 since a T-7 at the Workday Charity Open.

21. Hideki Matsuyama (+3300)

Three straight top-30 placings and four in his last five events. Typically shows well in the no-cut WGC events with two career wins and a T-6 at the WGC-Mexico Championship earlier this year.

Looking to place a bet on the 2020 BMW Championship? Get some action on it at BetMGMBet Now!

20. Sungjae Im (+6600)

Out of form with four missed cuts since the restart. The winner of The Honda Classic still ranks eighth in the season-long standings and is competing for starting strokes at the Tour Championship.

19. Gary Woodland (+6600)

The 2019 US Open champion has no wins but six top-10 finishes this year to sit 39th in the FEC standings. He has a great approach game and is typically much better on the greens than his 1.28 strokes lost putting per round last week.

18. Paul Casey (+5000)

Has disappointed since his T-2 finish at the PGA Championship with a T-31 at the Wyndham Championship and T-49 last week. He’s one of few in the field with course history at Olympia Fields CC from the 2003 US Open, even though he missed the cut that week.

17. Harris English (+4000)

The only golfer in the top 10 of the FedEx Cup standings without a win this season. English has six top 10s including last week’s distant runner-up finish to Dustin Johnson.

16. Jason Day (+3000)

Missed the cut at The Northern Trust to snap a resurgent stretch of four consecutive top 10s. Injuries finally no longer appear to be an issue and his expert ball-striking has returned.

15. Adam Scott (+4500)

Tied for 58th last week to slip from 36th to 38th in the FedEx Cup standings. Will be playing just his third event since the restart and needs a big move to play next week.

FedEx Cup standings: Who’s in, who’s out as playoffs move on

14. Patrick Reed (+3300)

Couldn’t defend his Northern Trust title with the move from Liberty National Golf Club to TPC Boston. Lost a rare 0.27 strokes per round putting to finish T-49 at minus-7.

13. Viktor Hovland (+3500)

Awful around-the-green last week but excellent with the putter; gaining 1.30 strokes per round. Averaging 1.19 SG: Tee-to-Green in 2020.

12. Xander Schauffele (+1800)

Ranks third on Tour in 2020 with 2.11 total strokes gained per round. Has no wins but six top 10s on the season.

11. Kevin Kisner (+3300)

Followed up a T-3 at the Wyndham Championship with a T-4 last week. His putter gets a large share of the credit with just 0.17 SG: Off-the-Tee at TPC Boston.

10. Tyrrell Hatton (+4500)

Seventeenth in the FedEx Cup standings and his nine events played are the fewest of anyone currently in the top 30. Gaining 1.42 strokes per round from tee-to-green.

9. Rory McIlroy (+1800)

It’s easy to forget Rory’s play earlier this season due to his results since the restart. He’s still 12th in the FedEx Cup standings with a win and six top 10s on the season but has nothing better than a T-11 at the Travelers Championship since mid-June.

8. Webb Simpson (+1800)

Simpson has strung together a T-3 and T-6 the last two weeks and enters the BMW Championship third in the FedEx Cup standings. He has two wins and eight top 10s on the season.

7. Justin Thomas (+1200)

The only three-time winner on the PGA Tour this season and his nine top 10s are tied for the Tour lead. Has disappointed in his last two events since winning the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

6. Scottie Scheffler (+2800)

Back-to-back T-4s at the PGA Championship and Northern Trust. Ranked second to Johnson with 2.39 SG: Tee-to-Green per round last week.

More: Assistant pro steps in to caddie for Scheffler at Northern Trust

5. Bryson DeChambeau (+1400)

Surprisingly missed the cut last week at a course he was seemingly well-suited for. Still leads the Tour with 1.174 SG: Off-the-Tee per round and ranked second in last week’s field with 1.15 per round despite missing the weekend. Won the 2015 US Amateur at Olympia Fields but under the match-play format.

4. Daniel Berger (+2000)

In the best form of anyone with 2.77 strokes gained per round on the average Tour pro over his last 20 rounds. Gaining 1.96 total strokes per round in 2020.

3. Collin Morikawa (+2000)

The winner of the 2020 PGA Championship and Workday Charity Open is just eighth by the betting odds to win this week. He slipped to fifth in the FedEx Cup standings with a missed cut last week and will be jostling for starting strokes at the Tour Championship.

2. Dustin Johnson (+800)

Last week’s winner by 11 strokes, there should only be a minor concern if Johnson takes his foot off the gas a little bit while seeking his first FedExCup win next week.

What’s in the bag? Check out Johnson’s clubs

1. Jon Rahm (+900)

The No. 1 player in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings led the field in SG: Off-the-Tee last week for his best result (T-6) since winning the Memorial Tournament.

Along with trying to win the event, the bottom half of the field will be trying to crack the top 70 of the standings in order to advance to next week’s BMW Championship. From there, the top 30 will compete for the $15 million top prize at the Tour Championship from Sept. 4-7.

30. Justin Rose (+5000)

Missed the cut at even par in last week’s Wyndham Championship following his solo ninth-place finish at the PGA Championship. The recently-turned 40-year-old has played 44 career rounds at TPC Boston and has averaged 1.06 strokes gained per round, according to Data Golf.

29. Byeong Hun An (+9000)

Averaging 0.87 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green in 2020, and he’s coming off a rare good putting performance with 0.99 SG: Putting per round at the PGA Championship. It has long been the missing piece to his game.

28. Louis Oosthuizen (+6600)

Has played 20 career rounds at TPC Boston with an average of 2.47 total strokes gained per round. Played six events since the PGA Tour’s restart with a top finish of T-6 at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

27.  Billy Horschel (+5000)

Coming off a solo runner-up finish last week at the Wyndham, where he gained 1.73 strokes per round with the putter and 0.93 off-the-tee. The former FedExCup champion has a poor course history here with 0.18 strokes lost per round.

26. Tiger Woods (+4000)

Nobody in the field has gained more strokes per round at TPC Boston than Tiger’s 2.90 across 36 laps over his career. Tied for 24th at the 2018 Dell Technologies Championship in his last visit.

25. Matthew Wolff (+5000)

Wolff led the PGA Championship with 3.53 SG: Tee-to-Green per round and ranked second with 3.05 SG: Tee-to-Green.

24. Abraham Ancer (+6000)

19.  J.T. Poston (+6600)

17. Si Woo Kim (+4000)

Won this event in 2016 but missed the cut in 2018 before a fifth-place finish last year. Tied for 13th last week with 2.18 SG: Tee-to-Green per round.

14. Brooks Koepka (+1000)

11. Corey Conners (+5000)

Tied for 22nd in this event last year with 1.29 SG: Off-the-Tee per round. Missed the cut last week with a horrendous putting performance but had been showing well in strong fields with a T-22 at the Memorial and a T-30 at the WGC.

8. Brendon Todd (+3500)

7. Harris English (+2500)

Has finished in the top 20 in four straight events. Averaging 1.07 SG: Tee-to-Green for the season. The top-ranked player in the field by the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings.

Fantasy Golf Power Rankings for the 2020 PGA Championship

As the PGA Championship begins at TPC Harding Park, check out these fantasy golf power rankings.

TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, California, will host the 2020 PGA Championship this week.

All the top names from the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings are expected to be in the final field for the season’s first major. Below, we look at the top-30 fantasy golf power rankings for the 2020 PGA Championship.

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Odds last updated Monday at 3:15 a.m. ET.

30. Brendon Todd (+9000)

A two-time winner on the PGA Tour’s 2019-20 season with victories at the Bermuda Championship and Mayakoba Golf Classic. He proved at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational he can hang with the bigger names in stronger fields, despite a dramatic disadvantage in distance.

29. Sungjae Im (+8000)

The 2020 Honda Classic champion missed the cut in three of the four majors he has played in his young career, but he’ll play his first as a PGA Tour winner. He relied heavily on his putter last week in Memphis, Tennessee.

28. Matt Kuchar (+8000)

Hasn’t been in great form since the Tour’s restart but showed some improvement at the WGC event, particularly with his putter. The 42-year-old has three top 10s in his last five appearances at the PGA Championship.

27. Rickie Fowler (+3300)

His betting odds don’t often carry much value due to his public popularity and that’s no different again for the first major of 2020. Still, he has great potential to grab at least a top-10 finish and flashed some of those abilities in a T-16 finish at TPC Southwind last week.

26. Patrick Reed (+4000)

Largely unimpressive since the PGA Tour’s restart outside of a T-10 at the Memorial and a T-7 at the Charles Schwab Challenge. The 2018 Masters champ tied for second at the PGA Championship in 2017 but missed the cut each of the last two years.

25. Gary Woodland (+4500)

Finished in the top 10 of each of the last two PGA Championships. The reigning US Open champ has been dialed in on approach and is in good form with his putter.

24. Hideki Matsuyama (+3300)

Excellent form with his irons this season but has struggled with the putter and has averaged -0.52 strokes gained putting per round, according to Data Golf. Once a staple major contender, he hasn’t cracked the top 10 in any of the four events in the last two years.

23. Tommy Fleetwood (+4000)

Shot 5-under par in his final round at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational to break par for the tournament. He has three top 5s in majors but has never finished better than T-35 at the PGA Championship.

22. Viktor Hovland (+3300)

Stumbled amid the tough conditions at the Memorial Tournament after finishing no worse than T-23 in his first five events since the PGA Tour’s restart. He has been one of the best on Tour off-the-tee and from tee-to-green, and dramatically improved his short game over the midseason break.

21. Harris English (+9000)

English is gaining 2.27 strokes per round on the average Tour player across his last 20 rounds. He missed the cut at Charles Schwan Challenge but finished T-17 at the RBC Heritage, T-13 at the Memorial and T-18 at the 3M Open.

Looking to place a bet on the 2020 PGA Championship? Get some action on it at BetMGMBet Now!

20. Sergio Garcia (+6600)

He’s averaging 2.08 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green per round and only needs to be average with the putter.

19.  Jason Day (+3300)

His only major victory to date was at the 2015 PGA Championship. The former world No. 1 tied for fifth at last year’s Masters and has been rounding back into old form with a T-7 at the Workday Charity Open, a T-4 at the Memorial Tournament and a T-6 at the WGC event.

18. Matthew Fitzpatrick (+5000)

Fitzpatrick is gaining 2.18 strokes per round on the average player this season and finished third at the Memorial before tying for sixth at the WGC event. He has five wins on the European Tour and can compete in strong fields.

17. Abraham Ancer (+6600)

Gaining 1.06 strokes per round from tee-to-green. Tied for 16th at last year’s PGA Championship and has two runner-up finishes since the start of last year’s FedExCup Playoffs.

16. Justin Rose (+6000)

The 2013 US Open champ has three career top 10s at the PGA Championship and tied for third at last year’s US Open. Turned 40 years old last week and is looking for his 17th victory since the beginning of 2010.

Adam Scott poses with the winners trophy following his victory of The Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club. (Gary A. Vasquez – USA TODAY Sports)

15. Adam Scott (+5000)

Will make his first appearance since the PGA Tour’s restart at a major where he has two straight top-10 finishes. Won The Genesis Invitational in his first event of 2020.

14. Tiger Woods (+2500)

Returns for the first time since a disappointing T-40 showing at the Memorial. Won’t be as penalized for wayward drives as he was in the thick rough at Muirfield Village Golf Club in his hunt for a record-tying fifth PGA Championship win.

13. Tony Finau (+3300)

Finau’s inability to close out victories on Sundays has overshadowed how well he has otherwise played. He’s averaging 1.54 SG: Tee-to-Green on the season.

12. Collin Morikawa (+3300)

The Workday Charity Open winner averaged 0.75 SG: Off-the-Tee at the WGC event to build on an average of 0.57 SG: OTT per round for the season. Will play just his second major with two PGA Tour wins to his name.

11. Dustin Johnson (+2200)

Johnson showed well with a T-12 at the FedEx St. Jude Invitational after withdrawing from the 3M Open and missing the cut at the Memorial. He won the Travelers Championship, but his inconsistency carries risk.

Patrick Cantlay plays his shot from the fairway on the ninth hole during the third round of the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club. (Aaron Doster – USA TODAY Sports)

10. Patrick Cantlay (+3000)

Averaging 1.77 SG: Tee-to-Green and 1.02 SG: Approach over the season. Tied for third at last year’s PGA Championship and ninth at the Masters.

9. Bryson DeChambeau (+1600)

The prestige has worn off a bit from DeChambeau’s new swing and added distance. He was dominant on the greens and off-the-tee last week but struggled from tee-to-green and on approach.

8. Tyrrell Hatton (+4500)

Was in excellent form prior to the WGC, where he finished in a tie for 69th in the no-cut, 78-man event. He previously ranked first on Tour in SG: Putting, second in SG: Approach and fifth in SG: Tee-to-Green.

7. Webb Simpson (+2500)

Simpson just missed out on a top-10 finish last week but rebounded nicely from a surprising missed cut at the Memorial. He has two wins and two other top 10s in seven events in 2020.

6. Xander Schauffele (+2200)

Lost 1.40 strokes per round on approach last week but gained 1.58 strokes around the greens. Has finished in the top six in five of 11 career major appearances.

5. Rory McIlroy (+1200)

Gained 0.81 strokes per round off-the-tee last week but still finished well back at 1-under par. Still, ranks No. 1 in the Golfweek rankings but hasn’t cracked a top 10 since the restart.

4. Daniel Berger (+4000)

The Charles Schwab Challenge winner turned in another excellent result at the WGC with a final round of 5-under par to finish T-2. Leads the Tour with 2.77 strokes gained per round on the average player this season.

3. Jon Rahm (+1400)

Handily beat a similar field at the 2020 Memorial Tournament. Has four top 10s, and three missed cuts, in his last eight majors.

Justin Thomas lines up his putt on the first green during the final round of the WGC – FedEx St. Jude Invitational at TPC Southwind. (Christopher Hanewinckel – USA TODAY Sports)

2. Justin Thomas (+900)

Earned his second victory of 2020 at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Won the 2017 PGA Championship, but didn’t play last year due to a wrist injury. Moved back to No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking with the win at TPC Southwind.

1. Brooks Koepka (+1000)

Gave away the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational with a ball in the water on No. 18 Sunday, but will attempt another defense of his PGA Championship crown this week. Was the betting favorite up until Thomas’ win at the WGC became official.
