Three-star offensive lineman Eston Harris Jr. signs with Auburn

No place like home.

Offensive line has been a weakness for Auburn for years. This problem starts on the recruiting trail and for the offensive line to get better Auburn has to address their struggles to land talented offensive linemen. 

Bryan Harsin thinks he has found one of these players in Eston Harris Jr. 

Harris is a three-star recruit in the 247Sports Composite ranking and plays for Auburn High.

Auburn Recruiting: Tre Donaldson returns from injury 

These future Tigers had a great performance on Friday night.

For the first time this season, Tre Donaldson was able to play for FSU School and he played well on both sides of the ball. At quarterback, he completed 16-of-19 passes for 156 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. At safety, he recorded 10 tackles, forced two fumbles and caught an interception.

Offensive line is one of Auburn’s biggest needs in the 2022 class and the Tigers have landed two linemen in the past week. Drew Bobo announced his commitment on Sunday and his teammate at Auburn High, Eston Harris Jr., announced his commitment to Auburn Thursday night.

Harris is a 3-star offensive tackle and the No. 16 prospect in Alabama per the 247Sports composite ranking. He is the 13th member of Auburn’s recruiting class which features his high school teammates Bobo and linebacker Powell Gordon.

Harris starts at right tackle for Auburn high and checks in at 6-foot-6, 290-pounds. He could play tackle or guard at the next level.

The addition of Harris gives Auburn the 34th ranked class in the country and the 13th ranked class in the SEC per 247Sports.

Mel Tucker and Michigan State football continue to show their love for big and strong players in recruitment. This offer is no different as 2022 offensive tackle Eston Harris Jr. announced that he received an offer from Michigan State.

Harris Jr., who is 6’6″ and 275 pounds, attends Beauregard High School in his hometown of Opelika, Alabama. Harris Jr. is a three star prospect and is the No. 422 player in the class of 2022 on 247sports. He is also the No. 35 offensive tackle and No. 12 player in the state of Alabama.

Harris Jr. has received over 30 offers including from notables schools like Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Miami, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, USC and many other D1 schools. The Crystal Ball is currently predicting him to stay in his home state and play for Auburn.
