Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class is still in its beginning stages. Head coach Mike Elko and his staff are focused on the 2024 season, but they know that every game, either at or close to College Station, is another opportunity to impact the recruiting trail.
This weekend, the Aggies will face Arkansas inside AT&T Stadium for the final time in the series. 2025 4-star wide receiver and Texas A&M commit Kelshaun Johnson will attend the game in Arlington, but that’s just one of the confirmed visitors.
In the 2026 cycle, one of the top cornerback prospects in the country has included Texas A&M in his Top 10 program list, joining Ohio State, USC, Tennessee, Alabama, Oregon, Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, and UCLA.
During his junior season at Archbishop Hoban HS in Akron, Ohio, Hill is mainly utilized as a wide receiver due to his size, speed, and soft hands. Still, he looks like a cornerback at the next level and a perfect fit in Elko and defensive coordinator Jay Batememan’s defensive scheme.
According to 247Sports Composite, Hill is currently positioned as the 15th-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the No. 1-ranked cornerback prospect, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Ohio.
