NBA star Devin Booker got his first-ever autograph from a Michigan State basketball legend.

The NBA’s official X account put out a video of NBA stars answering questions about the nature of signing autographs. Booker was one of those players and he gave a quick shoutout to former Michigan State star Drew Neitzel.

Booker is from the Grand Rapids, Mich. area and was a target of the Spartans in the recruiting process. He ultimately chose to play at Kentucky instead.

Favorite Spartans of All Time Sweet 16: Magic Johnson region

We’re down to four former Spartans in the Magic Johnson region

Hello and welcome to the Sweet 16 of our Favorite Spartans of All Time Tournament. The name is still terrible (and probably changed from the first round) but it’s still a pandemic out there and frankly, you and I have better things to worry about than thinking up a snappy name for this bracket challenge.

Some more big names went down in round two and we’re left with 16 of the most popular Michigan State Spartans of all time. This is when the real heavyweight matchups begin.

Without further ado, it’s time for the Sweet 16 in the Magic Johnson region.
