Dont’a Hightower watched “The Boogeymen” fall apart on Monday night.
Kyle Van Noy started off by signing a four-year deal with the Miami Dolphins and Jamie Collins signed a three-year deal with the Detroit Lions shortly after. Van Noy was with the New England Patriots four almost four seasons and Collins spent nearly five years with the team.
Hightower has been with the team for eight seasons and formed close bonds with both linebackers. His reaction on Twitter sums up the feeling of Patriots fans.

Hightower and Ja’Whaun Bentley are the only linebackers left for New England — with edge rushers Chase Winovich, John Simon and Derek Rivers cracking down on opposing quarterbacks.
The Patriots have retained Josh McDaniels, Nick Caserio, Matthew Slater, Devin McCourty and Joe Thuney so far. Tom Brady’s future is still a complete mystery — the Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Chargers still in the mix.
