Coronavirus Task Force ‘not doing the right thing behind data’
Coronavirus Task Force briefing: April 18
COVID-19: Hydroxychloroquine clinical trials ‘best data that you are going to get’
Opening Up America Again: Three-phased approach detailed
WASHINGTON – The Coronavirus Task Force conducted another press conference Saturday at the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room in the White House.
Saturday’s briefing was highlighted by questionable statistical data being given to American citizens regarding the coronavirus pandemic.
Frank Engelsman, CEO of Ultrascan Research and founder of Ultrascan-AGI, previously discussed American citizens not fully trusting information being presented from Dr. Deborah Birx and Dr. Anthony Fauci during Coronavirus Task Force briefings.
“I think the numbers and data the task forces worldwide have put out – as they also say not complete – are not accurate and therefore are misleading,” Engelsman said. “Close to all cases admitted to IC’s are classified as corona related. Something is very wrong with the profiling of patients by corona symptoms as released by Chinese officials.”
Further information presented by Birx at Saturday’s Coronavirus Task Force briefing highlighted statistics that are not trusted.
This time it was in reference to Birx displaying China’s mortality rate as 0.33 percent.
President Donald Trump quickly questioned Birx’s slide with China’s data which is the epicenter of COVID-19.
“Excuse me,” Trump told Birx. “Does anybody really believe this number? Does anybody really believe this number?”
Birx replied that she “put China on there so you could see how basically unrealistic this could be.”
“When highly developed health care delivery systems of the United Kingdom, and France, and Belgium, and Italy, and Spain, with extraordinary doctors and nurses and equipment have case fatality rates in the twenties, up to 45, and Belgium is extraordinarily competent health care delivery system, and then China at 0.33, you realize that these numbers, even, and this includes the doubled number out of Wuhan,” Birx continued in her reasoning to Trump. “So I want really to put it in perspective, but I wanted you also to see how great the care has been for every American that has been hospitalized, and the extraordinary work of our doctors and nurses, and our laboratorians on the front line who have been doing an excellent job.”
Trump then questioned Birx’s statistics for Iran on her slide that she was presenting to Americans.
Birx listed Iran’s mortality rate as 6.06 percent.
“Also, the number for Iran,” Trump questioned Birx. “Does anybody really believe that number? You see what’s going on.
“Put that slide back, if you would. Does anybody believe this number? Does anybody believe this number? You saw more bags on television than that.”
Birx concluded by thanking “the data team who puts these together for me.”
“They are working until about 3:30 every morning to make sure that we have the most up-to-date information,” Birx continued. “That’s the data that goes to our supply chain individuals, to ensure that every hospital, in every state, and every community has what they need based on data, and to make sure that we’re serving the needs of the American people as effectively as possible.”
Following Birx’s chart of statistics on display Saturday at the press briefing, Engelsman noted that “getting facts right is important to make sure history is not distorted or placed in the wrong context.”
“I do not remember when it came in to fashion to hide not doing the right thing behind data, especially when the first numbers to establish a baseline are skewed from the beginning,” Engelsman said of Birx’s statistics provided to American citizens.

Southeastern Coalition: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee strategize ‘to reboot economy’
NASHVILLE – Governor Bill Lee of Tennessee announced Saturday that he communicated with nearby states, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina, to strategize for a plan to have citizens returning to work safely.
“This afternoon, I spoke with fellow Southeastern governors about strategies to get our states safely back to work,” Lee Tweeted. “Grateful for their thoughts as we work to reboot the economy.”

Lee’s discussions with other governors come on the heels of President Donald Trump outlining an Opening Up America Again plan.
“Based on the latest data, our team of experts now agrees that we can begin the next front in our war, which we are calling, Opening Up America Again – and that’s what we’re doing,” Trump said Thursday during a Coronavirus Task Force briefing. “We’re opening up our country, and we have to do that.
“America wants to be open and Americans want to be open. As I have said for some time now, a national shutdown is not a sustainable long-term solution.”
Trump also mentioned that citizens returning to work “is a gradual process” and that “governors will be empowered to tailor an approach that meets the diverse circumstances of their own states.”
“We are also encouraging states to work together to harmonize their regional efforts,” Trump said Thursday. “We’ll have numerous cases where states have worked and we’ll be working very closely together. As we reopen, we know that there will be continued hardships and challenges ahead.
“Our goal will be to quickly identify and address any outbreaks and put them out rapidly. If the virus returns in the fall as some scientists think it may, possibly, these guidelines will ensure that our country is up and running so that we can likewise put it out quickly.”
President Donald Trump thinks Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was ‘a great pick’
President Donald Trump liked a viral video of Lamar Jackson’s former teammate celebrating his selection in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Ravens

When the Baltimore Ravens selected quarterback Lamar Jackson with the final pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, we got some great viral clips to go with it. From Jackson saying Baltimore was getting a Super Bowl from him to his former Louisville teammate Jaire Alexander emotionally celebrating the pick, draft night was full of excitement.
Jackson reshared that video of Alexander’s celebration on Twitter, which caught the eye of President Donald Trump, who called him a “great pick.” Jackson earned the 2019 NFL MVP last season after breaking all types of franchise and league records and becoming one of the young faces of the league.
Really nice to see this and, what a great pick! https://t.co/91104h0sd1

Jackson had to wait to get his start in the NFL, playing behind Joe Flacco for nine games his rookie season. But once Flacco went down with a hip injury, Jackson got the starting spot and never looked back. Last season, Jackson completed 66.1% of his passes for 3,127 yards and a league-leading 36 touchdown throws, while adding another 1,206 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
While Jackson hasn’t yet made good on his promise to bring another Lombardi Trophy to Baltimore, the Ravens are considered one of the favorites to win Super Bowl LV.

Opening Up America Again: Three-phased approach detailed
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump unveiled guidelines for Opening Up America Again, a three-phased approach based on the advice of public health experts.
These steps are intended to help state and local officials when reopening their economies, getting people back to work, and continuing to protect American lives.
The three-phased approach can be viewed in detail below.
“Some states are not in the kind of trouble that others are in. Now that we have passed the peak in new cases, we’re starting our life again, we’re starting rejuvenation of our economy again, in a safe and structured and very responsible fashion. Our strategy will continue to protect senior citizens and other vulnerable populations while allowing military and other groups of incredibly talented people, to go about their real business. And the business that’s supposed to be, hard at work at doing, and nobody does it better.” — President Donald Trump

“Our normal is if you have 100,00 people in an Alabama football game or 110,000 to be specific,” Trump said. “Normal” is not going to be a game where you have 50,000. We want 110,00 people there. We want every seat occupied. Normal is not going to be a game where we have 50,000” people.

Trump was at UA’s Bryant Denny stadium, capacity almost 102,000, last year for the Alabama/LSU game. The Tide is set to start its season Sept. 5 vs. USC in Arlington, Texas.
This shout out today comes after President Trump had a conference call with major league sports commissioners a little over a week ago, and according to ESPN, “President Donald Trump said he believes the NFL season should start on time in September.”
The call included 12 major sports commissioners and top executives, including the NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball, NHL, Major League Soccer, WNBA, WWE Wrestling, the PGA Tour, UFC, IndyCar, LPGA, and Breeders Cup, according to a White House pool report.
Although the future is full of uncertainty, this news at least brings a dose of hope as sports fans all over the world have been missing watching their favorite sports.

President Trump details ‘strong position to finalize guidelines for states on reopening the country’
Trump details strong position to finalize guidelines for states on reopening the country.
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump and the Coronavirus Task Force held a briefing Wednesday at the White House Rose Garden.
Trump mentioned it was “a big day today in the White House.”
“All of American society is engaged and mobilized in the war against the invisible enemy,” he said. “While we must remain vigilant, it is clear that our aggressive strategy is working, and very strongly working.
“The battle continues, but the data suggests that nationwide we have passed the peak on new cases. Hopefully that will continue, and we will continue to make great progress. These encouraging developments have put us in a very strong position to finalize guidelines for states on reopening the country, which we’ll be announcing. We’re going to be talking about that tomorrow. We’ll be having a news conference tomorrow. Sometime during the afternoon we’re going to be announcing guidelines, and we’ll be talking about various states, and it’s very exciting.”
Trump announced that he “spoke with the leaders of many of our nation’s most renowned companies and organizations on how to achieve the full resurgence of the American economy.”
His discussions on Wednesday included leaders in health and healthcare, transportation, technology, financial services, food, beverages, hospitality, real estate, retail, agriculture, construction, energy, labor, manufacturing and sports industries.
“We want to get our country open again,” Trump said. “We want to have our sports leagues open. You want to watch sports, it’s important. We miss sports, we miss everything. We want to get back.
“These experts and innovators provided extremely productive feedback on how to safely reboot our economy. They gave us a lot of great ideas. We spoke to a lot of very, very smart people. The highest of the high tech, the level of IQ on some of those calls was about the highest you’ve ever seen in a phone call. We have a lot of great thought went into those calls and a lot of questions came out and also statements, very strong statements, as to what they recommend. I think it was a great day. We did a lot of calling with a lot of very prominent people, but more importantly, very smart people and people that love our country.”
Trump mentioned that leaders “talked about the vital importance of our wide array of relief measures to address the present crisis.”
“They provided valuable insights on how to move forward, including on the role of protective gear where we have tremendous amounts of protective gear coming in, robust testing and the future use of therapies and treatments,” Trump said. “They also underscored the crucial importance of strong supply chains and communications infrastructure. We’re talking about infrastructure for the middle of our country.
“We’re talking about broadband and things that they frankly don’t have and haven’t had for a long time because a lot of politicians forgot about them. Can’t forget about them. They’re really the heart and soul — can’t forget about them.”
