1 doubtful, 11 questionable for Dolphins Week 12 matchup with Jets

Here’s who might not play this week.

The Miami Dolphins completed their final practice of the week on Thursday, a walkthrough, at the Baptist Health Training complex in preparation for their Friday afternoon battle with the New York Jets.

Without a full practice, the Dolphins had to estimate participation levels for the session.

Offensive lineman Robert Jones (knee) has been listed as doubtful.

Tight end Durham Smythe (ankle), running back De’Von Achane (knee), left tackle Terron Armstead (knee), wide receiver Chase Claypool (knee), offensive lineman Lester Cotton (hip), right guard Robert Hunt (hamstring), full back Alec Ingold (foot/ankle) and right tackle Austin Jackson (oblique) enter this week as questionable.

Raiders, Dolphins final injury report: LT Kolton Miller, LG Dylan Parham both Questionable

Raiders LT Kolton Miller, LG Dylan Parham both Questionable vs Dolphins

Whether the Raiders will have their starting left side of the offensive line has been in question all week. Now it’s official — LT Kolton Miller and LG Dylan Parham are both Questionable for Sunday’s game in Miami.

Coming off the injury report entirely was Amik Robertson who suffered a concussion in last week’s game against the Jets.

The Dolphins will be without WR Chase Claypool, and offensive linemen Rob Hunt and Rob Jones.

Raiders, Dolphins Thursday injury report: LT Kolton Miller, LB Dylan Parham return to practice

Raiders LT Kolton Miller, LB Dylan Parham both returned to practice Thursday

Just yesterday the Raiders were missing their starting left side of the offensive line. Today it looks like there’s hope both could play Sunday in Miami.

Left tackle Kolton Miller (shoulder) and left guard Dylan Parham (calf) took the practice field today. Also returning to practice were cornerback Amik Robertson (concussion) and linebacker Curtis Bolton (illness).

In other words, they got everybody back.

Miller missed last week with his shoulder injury. His return would be the most significant. Robertson’s return is probably the most surprising considering he was knocked completely unconscious Sunday night against the Jets. Miller, Parham and Robertson were all still limited in Thursday’s practice.

For the Dolphins, several players missed practice for the second straight day including WR Chase Claypool, OL Rob Hunt, and OL Rob Jones.

Raiders, Dolphins Wednesday injury report: LT Kolton Miller, LG Dylan Parham both miss practice

LT Kolton Miller, LG Dylan Parham both miss practice

Wednesday the Raiders and Dolphins began preparing for their matchup in Miami on Sunday. The Raiders did so without the left side of their offensive line.

Left tackle Kolton Miller was still missing with a shoulder injury. He was joined by left guard Dylan Parham who is nursing a calf injury.

Also missing was cornerback Amik Robertson who suffered a concussion in Sunday night’s game against the Jets.

The Raiders did get fullback Jakob Johnson back from his concussion, so he figures to be ready to go this week.

The Dolphins were missing six players. We will see how many of them are still not practicing on Thursday to know who just a little banged up and who is actually in danger of missing the game Sunday.

Chargers’ final injury report ahead of matchup vs. Dolphins

The Chargers have two players listed as doubtful for Sunday’s contest against the Dolphins.

The Chargers had their final practice on Friday before the Week 1 matchup with the Dolphins.

Los Angeles will likely be without linebacker Daiyan Henley and edge defender Chris Rumph II, who are both doubtful.

They’re both dealing with hamstring injuries. Henley sustained his in the preseason finale against the 49ers, while Rumph injured his in practice on Wednesday.

With Rumph out, rookie Tuli Tuipulotu should see an uptick in snaps as a rotational piece. L.A. will likely call up an edge defender from the practice squad to fill Rumph’s void, like Andrew Farmer.

For the Dolphins, tackle Terron Armstead and defensive back Elijah Campbell are out. Cornerback Justin Bethel and tight end Julian Hill are questionable.

Dolphins injury report: 7 players estimated to be upgraded on Tuesday

Tuesday’s update.

On Tuesday, the Miami Dolphins held a walk-through in anticipation of their Thursday night meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.

If the Dolphins had practiced in full the team estimates that three players would’ve sat out – left tackle Terron Armstead (toe) and tight ends Cethan Carter (concussion) and Hunter Long (ankle).

Nine players would’ve been limited, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (back/ankle), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (groin), cornerback Xavien Howard (groin/glute), right guard Robert Hunt (shin), defensive tackle Raekwon Davis (knee), defensive lineman Zach Sieler (hand), safety Brandon Jones (chest), cornerback Kader Kohou (ankle) and wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ribs/toe).

Tagovailoa, Howard, Waddle, Hunt and Jones were all upgraded from estimated non-participants on Monday.

Safety Jevon Holland (neck) and right tackle Greg Little (finger) were listed as full participants. Both were upgraded from limited the previous day.

While these are estimations, this is some good news for this week’s matchup.

Dolphins injury report: 3 players with changed participation status

X was back on Thursday.

On Thursday, the Miami Dolphins held their second practice of the week in anticipation of their Sunday afternoon battle with the Buffalo Bills.

Three players who didn’t participate on Wednesday – offensive tackle Terron Armstead (toe) and tight ends Cethan Carter (concussion) and Hunter Long (ankle) – remained out for practice on Thursday.

However, cornerback Xavien Howard (groin) was upgraded to a limited participant. He joined wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ribs/toe) and defensive lineman Raekwon Davis (knee) as the only players that were limited. Davis was a full participant on Wednesday.

Linebacker Channing Tindall (illness) was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday, joining tight end Tanner Conner (knee) and fullback Alec Ingold (shoulder).

Removed from the list completely was linebacker Melvin Ingram, who got his normal veteran rest day on Wednesday.

Armstead’s status is probably the most concerning, considering he’s been dealing with this toe injury for over a week now and played through it in Week 2. Hopefully, he didn’t aggravate the injury to the point that he can’t go on Sunday.

Dolphins injury report: 10 players listed ahead of Bills game

Four didn’t participate due to injury.

As they ready for their Saturday afternoon battle with the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins held practice on Wednesday and released their first injury report of the week.

Left tackle Terron Armstead (toe), cornerback Xavien Howard (groin), linebacker Melvin Ingram (veteran rest) and tight ends Cethan Carter (concussion) and Hunter Long (ankle) didn’t participate.

Howard’s injury is new. That’s something that may have popped up during their Week 2 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

Linebacker Channing Tindall (illness) and wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ribs/toe) were listed as limited. Tindall missed last week’s game with that illness and while Wilson played through the toe injury, the rib caused him to leave the game.

Miami also has three full participants – tight end Tanner Conner (knee), defensive tackle Raekwon Davis (knee) and fullback Alec Ingold (shoulder).

Ingold’s injury is also new, but as a full participant, it doesn’t appear to be anything to worry about just yet.
