Kirk Herbstreit’s dog Ben and Washington’s live mascot Dubs finally met, and it was adorable

!!! GOOD BOYS ALERT !!!

Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship game was won before it was even played.

The bestest boys you could ever imagine showed up in full force, as Kirk Herbstreit’s dog Ben and the Washington Huskies dog mascot Dubs were the real VIPs at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

Herbstreit has brought Ben along with him to various sporting events this season, and of course this wonderful golden retriever showed up for this year’s college football title game.

Herbstreit took Ben on a pregame walk and even brought him onto the field for a segment along with Chris Fowler. Look at that good boy!

Dubs also showed up to support his team, looking like the happiest malamute in the world.

These two star dogs even got to meet before the game, and it was absolutely adorable to see these good boys sitting together.

Shower them with hugs and cookies!

The national title game was great and all, but we all won for getting to spend a little screen time with these amazing pups.

A giant, famous dog sat courtside at the Lakers game next to Kevin Bacon and stole the show

This is the most L.A. thing you could possibly imagine.

You never know who you are going to see sitting courtside when the Lakers are playing and apparently, sometimes that includes humungous dogs.

When the Lakers hosted the Knicks on Monday night, the best seat in the house was occupied by a Goldendoodle named Brodie. The dog, who was wearing an Austin Reaves jersey, was seated next to celebrity actors Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick.

Brodie The Goldendoodle has one million followers on Instagram and 6.6 million followers on TikTok. Knicks wing Josh Hart said that he is a fan.

As the night progressed, Brodie’s status as a Very Important Dog became more and more clear.

Brodie was shown on the big screen doing a little dance, which made everyone in the arena very happy.

Brodie was then awarded Fan of the Game for supporting the team.

Congratulations on this incredible achievement, Brodie!

Dogs jumping Double Dutch at a Pacers game is the best kind of halftime entertainment

Three very, very good dogs.

Halftime shows at pro and college basketball games can be hit or miss. Sometimes you get the guy running a big game of Simon Says. But sometimes you hit the jackpot and get something featuring man’s best friend.

Fans at Monday night’s Indiana Pacers game got a real treat during the break as Swiffer the dog performed Double Dutch at mid-court. That alone would have been impressive, but to make things even more incredible, two doggie friends HELD THE ROPE.

Just remarkable canine skills. And I can’t even get my dogs to listen to me with any regularity.
