This game is incredibly tough to handicap with 2 very inexperienced pitchers on the mound. I’m only picking the Dodgers (-135) to win the game because they are the more talented team offensively, but they aren’t playing well. They also hit 24 points lower against righties than lefties. I’ll stay away from this bet.

My lean is Los Angeles but not enough to recommend you take this bet.
I liked the Tigers to win Friday, and they should have won, but their bullpen couldn’t hold the Dodgers in the 8th or 9th. This Dodgers lineup is tough to hold down for 9 innings, especially for a kid making only the 4th start of his career. Wrobleski was roughed up in his MLB debut, and we will have to see how he bounces back.

I don’t see how this game is not a shootout Saturday afternoon. I’ve already spoken at length about how we’ve got 2 young pitchers on the mound and these offenses should be licking their chops. This is the toughest lineup that Montero has faced in his young career, and Wrobleski gave up 2 homers in his 1st outing.
While the trends don’t scream to take the Over, Detroit has gone Over in 3 of its last 4 games.
