Michigan State Basketball 2021 4-star commit Pierre Brooks II has been tearing it up for Douglass Academy. He is currently ranked the No. 66 player in the country in the 2021 class, but one Nike scout thinks he might be ranked even higher if more scouts were able to come watch him play in person.
Vince Baldwin, who is a Nike Basketball Scout, an NBA Consultant, and an NCAA Certified Recruiting analyst went on Twitter on Wednesday night to praise Pierre Brooks. Brooks had just put up 45 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in a win for Detroit Fredrick Douglass last night.
Here is what Baldwin said about the future Spartan:
It’s a shame the basketball scouting community didn’t get to see Pierre Brooks of Detroit Fredrick Douglass this summer. He’s been absolutely destroying people over the last year and dropped 45, 14, & 10 last night. Michigan State is getting a good one!! @nba_pbj pic.twitter.com/yfB1fomdUv
