In a 12-round heavyweight bout in the main event, Derek Chisora (32-12) and Kubrat Pulev (29-2) meet Saturday at O2 Arena in Greenwich, U.K. The card begins at 2 p.m. ET (DAZN). Below, we analyze the Chisora vs. Pulev odds and lines, with expert boxing picks and predictions.
Chisora steps back into the ring looking to stop a 3-bout slide. His lost his last time out in a unanimous decision to Joseph Parker in Manchester, U.K., and prior to that he suffered a split-decision loss to Parker at the very same venue in May 2021.
During the height of the global pandemic, Chisora fought Oleksander Usyk at Wembley Arena in London and was outboxed in a unanimous decision in October 2020. His last victory came in October 2019 at O2 Arena, a 4th-round TKO against David Price.
Pulev already beat Chisora once before, winning via split decision at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany, in May 2016. At the time he claimed the vacant EBU European heavyweight title in the process.
The 41-year-old Kubrat, a.k.a. “The Cobra”, enters the five with an amazing 5.5″ reach advantage. He suffered a title fight loss to Anthony Joshua in December 2020, losing in a 9th-round KO at Wembley. He bounced back winning a unanimous decision over Jerry Forrest in Inglewood, Calif., in May of this year.

Derek Chisora vs. Kubrat Pulev picks and predictions
Records: Chisora (32-12-0, 23 KOs) | Pulev (29-2, 14 KOs)
Fight result (2-way line or money line)
Pulev (-280) is the heavy favorite in this rematch from 6 years ago. Both fighters have a lot more tread on the tires, but like that last bout, the Bulgarian fighter rolls in with a lot more momentum.
However, you can’t risk nearly 3 times your potential return on the favorite, as there is just no value there, so get a little more specific.
Play PULEV TO WIN BY DECISION (+125) at plus-money, as that is the way to go. Chisora has 3 consecutive losses, but each have been by decision, including one split. He has been close, and his cardio remains strong, he has just been getting outpointed.
Over/Under (O/U)
Over 10.5 rounds (-205) is a little on the pricey side, costing you 2 times your potential return. Instead, roll with YES (-180): FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE for a little less juice. It’s still a little high, but if you don’t want to declare a winner, this is the way to go. Otherwise, just take Pulev by points.
