A class of 2026 recruit is heading to Lincoln for a visit this weekend. Quarterback Dayton Raiola, brother of current Husker Dylan Raiola, is coming to Nebraska on July 27.

Dayton received an offer from Nebraska during his freshman year at Chandler High School in Arizona in 2022. He also received offers from Appalachian State and Charlotte in January 2024. Dayton now enters his junior year at Buford High School in Georgia, preparing to play on the varsity level for the first time.

Dayton sat behind his brother through his freshman year at Chandler and his sophomore year at Buford, playing JV in both seasons. Dylan Raiola threw for 2,666 yards, 34 touchdowns, and just one interception.

Dayton appeared in only six varsity games last season at Buford. He finished 6-of-16 passing for 60 yards and one touchdown. The left-handed quarterback currently stands at 6 feet, 1 inch, and 205 pounds entering his junior year.

The younger brother of a Nebraska quarterback took a visit to Lincoln during the spring game. Quarterback Dayton Raiola was present for the annual Red-White Spring Game on Saturday afternoon.

Dayton is the younger brother of freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola. The class of 2026 prospect is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound quarterback for Buford High School out of Buford, Georgia.

While backing up his brother last season, Dayton appeared in only six games. He finished 6-of-16 passing for 60 yards and one touchdown.

Raiola also holds offers from Appalachian State and Charlotte.

Quarterback Dylan Raiola, the number one recruit in the 2024 class, will take an unofficial visit to Nebraska this weekend, according to Rivals.

Curiously, Adam Gorney of Rivals added that Raiola is “not rethinking his commitment to Ohio State”.

The visit could be related to his younger brother Dayton Raiola. Nebraska recently extended an offer to Dayton Raiola. Dayton Raiola attends Chandler High School in Chandler, AZ, alongside his older brother. He is a member of the 2026 class.

The Raiola brothers have a couple of connections to Nebraska. Their father, Dominic Raiola, played center for the Cornhuskers, and he was an All-American in 2000. Their uncle, Donovan Raiola, is currently an offensive line coach for the Cornhuskers.

Raiola is the sixth recruit in the 2026 class to receive an offer from the Cornhuskers. He attends Chandler High School in Chandler, AZ. His high school teammates running back Ca’lil Valentine and defensive back Kennedy Urlacher also received offers from Nebraska in the last few days.

Raiola is the younger brother of Ohio State commit Dylan Raiola. 247 Sports ranks Dylan Raiola as the number one recruit in the 2024 class.
