Rick Barnes and Tennessee’s coaching staff have a offered a scholarship to 2027 point guard prospect Davion Thompson.
“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Thompson said.
The 6-foot-3, 170-pound point guard prospect is from Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
There are currently no recruiting rankings for Thompson from 247Sports, Rivals, On3 or ESPN.
The Vols are the only Southeastern Conference school to offer Thompson so far.
Thompson has seven scholarship offers. He has offers from Tennessee, Washington, Iowa, Wake Forest, Eastern Illinois, Bryant, Michigan and Illinois.
Center DeWayne Brown is Tennessee’s only commitment in its 2025 recruiting class.
