Michigan State football will be hosting a boatload of big-time recruits this weekend, and that includes an elite defensive back in the 2026 class.

Four-star defensive back David Davis will reportedly visit Michigan State this weekend, according to Kenny Jordan of SpartanMag. Davis hails from Pittsburgh and is considered one of the top athletes in the 2026 class.

Davis ranks as the No. 18 athlete and No. 269 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 8 player from Pennsylvania in the class.

Michigan State is one of 10 schools to already extend an offer to Davis, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, West Virginia, Akron, Kent State and Toledo.

Davis ranks as the No. 19 athlete in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 229 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State is one of 10 programs to extend an offer to Davis, according to 247Sports. Other programs to offer Davis includes Cincinnati, Kentucky, Penn State, Pitt, Tennessee, West Virginia, Akron, Kent State, and Toledo.
