Eagles activate Cam Jurgens from Injured Reserve ahead of MNF matchup vs. Chiefs

The Eagles are getting healthy at the right time, and one of their top offensive weapons is returning to the lineup.

Philadelphia is set to depart for Kansas City and announced that right guard Cam Jurgens will be active after removing him from the injured reserve list.

Safety Justin Evans, on Injured Reserve with a knee injury, returned to practice this week in a limited capacity but was not activated for Monday night’s game.

The only player on the active roster who will miss Monday night’s game is tight end Dallas Goedert, with a forearm injury.

The Eagles ranked second in the league in rushing offense, averaging more than 165 yards per game before Jurgens suffered a foot injury. They currently rank eighth, just below 130 yards per contest, with D’Andre Swift not going over 100 yards rushing in that time span.

Sua Opeta started the first four games after Jurgens’ injury, with rookie third-round pick Tyler Steen manning the position for the Week 9 win over Dallas.

He suffered a forearm injury in the win over the Cowboys, but is not going on Injured Reserve.
