Dallas Cowboys 2022 Super Bowl 56 odds

Analyzing the Dallas Cowboys 2022 Super Bowl 56 odds, with NFL futures picks and predictions.

With QB Dak Prescott set to return after missing most of the 2020 season, the Dallas Cowboys are poised to bounce back from what was a difficult campaign. They finished 6-10 and third in the NFC East after a 2-7 start. Below, we look at the Dallas Cowboys 2022 Super Bowl 56 odds, with NFL futures picks and predictions.

The Cowboys’ 2020 season got off to a rough start even before Prescott broke his ankle in Week 5. They lost three of their first four games and allowed a total of 180 points in the first five weeks. They finished the year 28th in points allowed and 23rd in total yards surrendered. The offense barely stayed afloat without its quarterback.

Heading into 2021, Dallas once again has hope thanks to Prescott. Fresh off a massive contract extension, he has long-term security in Dallas. He’ll also have RB Ezekiel Elliott behind him in the backfield, as well as WRs Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup as his wideouts.

Cowboys’ offseason recap

The biggest move Dallas made this offseason was re-signing Prescott to a four-year, $160 million contract. They also signed S Keanu Neal, who’s moving to linebacker, added LB Micah Parsons with their first-round draft pick, and gave new defensive coordinator Dan Quinn a familiar face in the secondary by bringing in FS Damontae Kazee.

The offense remains mostly unchanged with Prescott, Elliott and the trio of wide receivers leading the charge under second-year head coach Mike McCarthy. If healthy, the Cowboys should have one of the best offenses in the league.

Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl 56 and 2022 NFL futures picks

The Cowboys look like legitimate Super Bowl contenders on paper, but I’m not ready to bet on them to win it all next season. There are still far too many question marks on defense, even if the offense will be the one to carry the team.

I would feel good about putting a small wager on Dallas to win the NFC EAST at +100. The Washington Football Team won the division last season, but there hasn’t been a repeat winner since the Philadelphia Eagles won it four straight years from 2001-2004. Dallas has a great chance in 2021.

I also like the Cowboys’ win total to go OVER 9 games (-140) in the first 17-game regular season. Essentially, you’re betting that they’ll go at least 3 games above .500. It’s very possible considering they’ll play a third-place schedule against teams like the Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, on top of the divisional games.
