There’s been a slew of news and commitments on the Ohio State football front, but there’s also some action happening with basketball recruiting.
It’s not just the shell game of transfers that seems to be the way of the college basketball world today, there are also still some recruiting of the traditional variety, and Chris Holtmann and staff have just offered a four-star shooting guard out of Florida.
At six-foot, six-inches, Dallan “Deebo” Coleman is rated as a four-star shooting guard out of Callahan, FL. He is considered the No. 10 ranked position player, and 48th overall prospect in the 2021 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Ohio State will have stiff competition for his services for teams in the south. Florida, Florida State, Clemson, Louisville, and Tennessee have all extended offers and you can only expect those to climb as more and more teams get on board.
It’s too early to know exactly which direction Coleman is leaning, or when he plans on making a decision, but as news breaks, we’ll have it for you.
