2026 3-star QB out of Douglasville (GA) will visit Texas A&M this weekend

One of the rising 2026 QB prospects his headed to College Station this weekend

Despite Texas A&M’s 2024 season-opening loss to Notre Dame, the 2025, 2026, and 2027 recruiting prospects who attended the game were highly impressed with the atmosphere, coaching staff, and overall feel of the program.

This weekend, while the over 100 recruits who descended on campus last weekend won’t reach the same number, plenty of high school talent will attend Texas A&M’s Week 2 matchup against McNeese State on Saturday afternoon, which now includes 2026 3-star QB D.J. Bordeaux.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Bordeaux planned to visit Nebraska before opting to join his Douglas Country teammate, 2026 4-star WR Aaron Gregory, in College Station this weekend, meaning Aggies OC Collin Klein has also been in contact with the rising signal caller over the last month.

Standing at 6-2 and 195 pounds, Bordeaux is a true dual-threat quarterback with quick feet and impressive vision. His arm strength and toughness stand out more than anything concerning his early traits.

According to 247Sports Composite, Bordeaux is currently positioned as the 397th-ranked prospect, the 28th-ranked quarterback prospect, and the 43rd-ranked prospect in Georgia.

Texas A&M will host McNeese on Saturday, Sept. 7, for an early kickoff at 11:45 a.m. The game will air on the SEC Network.
