- Creighton was upset by Georgetown at home Wednesday. The Hoyas shot 50% and scored 86 points in that contest. In the 11 games prior, CU held foes to a 39.5% mark from the field. For the season, the ‘Jays have held opponents under 70 points in eight games.
- Marquette snapped a three-game losing skid in its last game, a 70-67 win over Butler Tuesday. The Golden Eagles overcame a sloppy, 19-turnover effort by shooting a robust 61.5% from the floor. Marquette had lost five of its previous six games at the Fiserv Forum.
- MU has been a turnover minus in four of its last five games. The Eagles defense forced opposing teams to turn the ball over on just 15.7% of all possessions (329th NCAA-I). The Creighton offense ranks 29th in the nation in turnover avoidance (15.9% of possessions).
