A Nebraska pitcher has been selected to play in the West Coast League All-Star Game. Ty Horn will play on Wednesday, July 19, at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham, WA.
Horn has made five appearances for the Corvallis Knights, including three starts. He holds a record of 1-0 with one save and 1.2 ERA.
The Halstead, KS native is one of seven Knights who have earned a spot in the All-Star game. The team currently leads the South Division to a 23-5 mark.
In his freshman season at Nebraska, Horn was 1-1 with a 5.91 ERA in 13 appearances, including one start. He struck out 19 batters in 21.1 innings pitched.
