The biggest question coming into today’s game between the Rams and Raiders was whether Cooper Kupp would play. He had been attempting to return from his ankle injury for this game and was considered day-to-day, even working out on the field prior to the game.
But ultimately he was ruled OUT and is officially inactive for the Rams.
Kupp injured the ankle in the Rams’ Week two game against the Cardinals. The Rams are coming off their bye week, which is often the time when players come back from injuries. But it wasn’t to be, so Kupp misses his fourth straight game.
Even missing the past three games, Kupp is still leads all Rams wide receivers in catches (18).
The Rams are also without Puka Nacua who was lost in the season opener and placed on injured reserve.
The Rams are expected to start Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell, and Jordan Whittington Sunday against the Raiders.
