The 2020 NFL Draft is set to kick off April 23 in a completely virtual format. With the first month of free agency and trades in the books, here’s a look at the updated draft order for all seven rounds, totaling 255 picks. Compensatory selections are denoted with an asterisk.

With compensatory picks, Seahawks have 8 selections in 2020 NFL Draft

After the announcement of the compensatory selections, the Seattle Seahawks now have eight total picks heading into April’s 2020 NFL Draft.

The league has officially announced the order for all seven rounds of this year’s NFL draft after determining the 32 compensatory picks that were awarded to 15 total teams this season.

The Seahawks received three compensatory selections based on a formula of more or better free agents lost versus gained to accrue pick No. 101 (third round), pick No. 144 (fourth round) and pick No. 214 (sixth round).

With the addition of the compensatory selections, Seattle has now has eight total picks heading into April’s draft:

Round 1 – No. 27 

Round 2 – No. 59 and No. 64 via Kansas City

Round 3 – No. 101 (compensatory), No.133

Round 4 – No. 144 (compensatory)

Round 5 – No. 162 via Pittsburgh

Round 6 – No. 214 (compensatory)

The NFL has announced the awarding of 32 compensatory picks to 15 teams around the league ahead of April’s 2020 NFL Draft. 

The NFL has announced the awarding of 32 compensatory picks to 15 teams around the league ahead of this year’s draft.

Per league rules, teams losing more or “better” compensatory free agents than they acquire in the previous year are eligible to receive compensatory draft selections. Compensatory free agents themselves, are formulated based on salary, playing time and postseason honors.

All compensatory picks are awarded in the third through seventh rounds and no teams can receive more than four in one year.
