Colorado at USC picks and predictions

Prediction

USC 51, Colorado 20

Moneyline

USC (-10000) will cost you $100 for every $1 won. That’s a non-sensical bet, and would never be OK under any circumstances.

PASS.

Against the spread

Hold your nose and play COLORADO +33.5 (-108).

The Buffaloes have been horrendous this season, but even they should be able to move the ball at least a little bit against USC -33.5 (-112). The Trojans have rolled up 41.0 PPG, ranking 7th overall, but this is also a defense which has yielded 25.2 PPG, and it allowed Cal to hang 35 on them last week at the Coliseum. There are plenty of red flags with the USC defense, so Colorado should be able to keep it within 5 TDs.

Over/Under

OVER 66.5 (-108) is lean here, ever so slightly.

The Over has hit in 6 of the last 8 games overall for Colorado, while going 4-0 in the last 4 road games. The Over is also 9-2 in USC’s last 11 home games, while cashing in 4 of the last 5 inside the conference.

The Trojans will roll up plenty of points with the Buffs allowed 40.2 PPG, so the Buffs’ offense won’t have to do much to get an Over winner here. Even if CU is in the teens you should be OK.
