The Spartans lost their undefeated status with a 40-29 setback at Purdue Saturday. The Boilermakers broke free of a 21-21 game with 16 unanswered points over a key 20-minute stretch in the second half. Michigan State was touched up for 594 yards on defense. First look: Michigan at Penn State odds and lines

Previewing the Michigan Wolverines at Penn State Nittany Lions Week 11 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The No. 8 Michigan Wolverines (8-1, 5-1 Big Ten) and No. 23 Penn State Nittany Lions (6-3, 3-3) meet Saturday at noon ET at Beaver Stadium in State College, Pa. Below, we look at the Michigan vs. Penn State odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Michigan is coming off a 29-7 victory over Indiana Saturday. The Wolverines have now held opponents under 20 points in seven games this fall. They’ve allowed just 16.0 points per game overall, which ranks sixth in the nation. One important issue for UM in this game at Penn State is the status of RB Blake Corum, a talented sophomore who has 778 rushing yards and 20 receptions this season.

Penn State snapped a three-game skid with a 31-14 win at Maryland Saturday. But things weren’t easy for the Nittany Lions. PSU and Maryland were tied 14-all at the 14-minute mark of the fourth quarter. The Lions defense was stingy down the stretch, and that’s nothing new. Penn State has held foes to 16.7 PPG this season (10th FBS).

Previewing the Purdue Boilermakers at Ohio State Buckeyes Week 11 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The Purdue Boilermakers (6-3, 4-2 Big Ten) and No. 5 Ohio State Buckeyes (8-1, 6-0) lock horns and match wits in a Saturday battle in Columbus, Ohio. The Big Ten crossover foes will meet at 3:30 p.m. ET at venerable Ohio Stadium. Below, we look at the Purdue vs. Ohio State odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Purdue upset then-No. 6 Michigan State 40-29 last week. The Boilermakers racked up 536 passing yards, marking the second-most passing yards MSU has ever allowed. For the season, Purdue ranks eighth in FBS, piling up 332.6 passing yards per contest.

The Buckeyes defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers 26-17 in Lincoln, Neb. A normally efficient Ohio State offense (ranked third in the nation in total yards with 542.1 per game and second in points per game with 44.9 per contest) struggled to move the ball at times. The Bucks were held to just nine second-half points, and their 26 total points marked their lowest for a single game since January’s National Championship Game against Alabama (24 points).

The Golden Gophers surged to the top of the Big Ten West Division standings prior to last week’s game. However, Minnesota suffered a 14-6 loss at home against Illinois, knocking it into a four-way tie in the division.

The Hawkeyes slapped the brakes on a two-game skid with a 17-12 road win against Northwestern, but they failed to cover in a third straight game. The Under is 3-0 across their past three outings.
