The newest Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports was released this morning, with Wisconsin falling out of the top 15 and Alabama and Notre Dame taking the top two spots.

After a brutal loss on the road at Northwestern, Wisconsin fell to No. 20, dropping eight spots from last week.

The Badgers had the biggest drop of anybody this week, and it may be easy to guess who the biggest risers were. Northwestern jumped up seven spots, almost replacing Wisconsin in the rankings.

Notre Dame still sitting pretty in latest Amway Coaches Poll

Even with a bye week, Notre Dame doesn’t lose ground on No. 1 Alabama.

It was a week where there wasn’t much movement at all inside the top 10, just Indiana fell out after falling to Ohio State in a thrilling 45-38 loss, although they didn’t fall far, just two spots to No. 12.

The top 5 teams remained the same, Alabama still No. 1 with the Irish, Ohio State, Clemson and Florida rounding out to the top 5. The biggest riser this week was Northwestern, as they defeated Wisconsin at home and they look like they’re they favorites to win the Big Ten West.

The Badgers and Oklahoma State both took big hits to their rankings, they each fell 8 spots after their respective losses.

Around the ACC, North Carolina State defeated formerly No. 22 Liberty, as the loss knocked them out of the Coaches Poll entirely. That was it for the conference’s ranked games, as No. 4 Clemson vs. Florida State and No. 9 Miami, FL vs. Georgia Tech were both postponed this weekend. No. 23 North Carolina, like Notre Dame, had a bye this weekend.

Here is the updated Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports, with the ACC teams in bold and last weeks ranking in parenthesis.

1 Alabama (1)

Auburn will now travel to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 1 Alabama on Saturday in the annual Iron Bowl. The Crimson Tide made easy work for Kentucky in a 63-3 victory over the Wildcats.

College Football: No change in top 11 in latest Amway Coaches Poll

There wasn’t much movement at the top of today’s Amway Coaches Poll.

[jwplayer 35fm0liC-PROpJzTY]

For the first time this year, it looks like things are starting to crystallize at the top of the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY.

The entire top 11 stayed exactly the same after this weekend’s games. However, there was some movement beyond that. Wisconsin went up another two spots to No. 12 after their beatdown of Michigan. Northwestern continues their climb up the rankings, now coming in at No. 20 after knocking off Purdue on Saturday.

The only other Big Ten teams in the top 25 are, of course, Ohio State at No. 3 and Indiana, who stayed at No. 10 despite their beatdown of Michigan State…

Auburn holds steady in latest Amway Coaches Poll

Auburn had its second straight bye week following the postponement of its game against Mississippi State due to COVID-19 cases.
